Oh, and a few others... The Dominican Dandy (which finishes off my Marichal registry set!), and a Sutcliffe RC (fits perfectly in both the CYA and ROY sets)
Just got my 2nd sub back today and I was very happy with these four, unfortunately the majority of the other cards in the sub didn't grade as well, so these 4 will be hitting the bay in a couple of days to help recoup some of the grading cost.
The Peter Green era (I've had to explain to more than one person that the history of that band included a period of real blues-flavored greatness and that Peter wrote both Black Magic Woman and The Green Manalishi.)
Love that Lem rookie. I'm a Skins guy, but I'm also a big fan of all 3 members of The Roaring 20's
I wanted that black border Clemens aucto inthe WORST way when it came out. I just uncoer a little brick of that subset. Think it will be the next 71 topps?
Halosfan, I think they misspelled the label for that last yankees auto card. For Derek Jeter they put DG instead of DJ. Did you buy or submit that one yourself?
Ya they hosed the label. I'm in no hurry to send it out again. It's going to stay with me for a while. Oddly enough that is one of the few labeling errors I've encountered recently. They seem to be getting much better in that department.
Looking for a Glen Rice Inkredible and Alex Rodriguez cards
The mailman brought me an interesting mix of registry upgrade newbies, a Perez-Steele, some oddball football and baseball, a few 70's Topps & OPC's, and what-the-heck! I'll even throw-in a couple of "non-sports" cards scans! Well ok, we can call them "early american sports cars" if u want to split hairs, just to make this tread right!
Danby, really really nice PSA 1, unless its missing it's back I can't see how it's a 1. Coho that is a great 5, great job on getting one centered and with some eye appeal. I had a mixed bag of stuff come in. All of it fun though.
Currently completing the following registry sets: Cardinal HOF's, 1961 Pittsburgh Pirates Team, 1972 Pittsburgh Pirates Team, 1980 Pittsburgh Pirates Team, Bill Mazeroski Master & Basic Sets, Roberto Clemente Master & Basic Sets, Willie Stargell Master & Basic Sets and Terry Bradshaw Basic Set
thanks all. i really like how a 52 mantle directly followed my 51 mantle.
The card has about 3 light creases not evident in the scan. Really nice eye appeal for a PSA 1. I've been looking for a mantle rookie for quite some time. I saw this beauty and couldnt resist.
After months of waiting, I finally found a card for my 63F set - under SMR - my goal is never to pay at or above. I know eventually I will have to but for now I'm doing good.
This one is well centered also! Ron Santo - his popularity in Chicago is unquestioned!
Wow! That has got to be one of the nicest PSA 1 cards I have ever seen. Mind sharing with us all what that set you back? I would be curious to compare that to what higher grades run personally. Congrats on the pick up.
Are you saying that 4 sharp corners material is overgraded by PSA?
Is this just your opinion, or do you have any facts to back-up your statement?
My understanding is the PSA graders do not have knowledge who owns a paticular item, when they are grading that item. I guess are you saying otherwise? Pleeeeeeze "fill me in"!
Just got this sweet thang in the other day......Julio Franco game worn 2006 Mets unwashed pants which I PHOTOMATCHED to June 22,2006 when he went 2-for-4 with a double and a stolen base. Only cost $100 and they came MLB & Steiner authenticated
My card doesn't compare but it's my first ever submission with a 10 in it and it's my favorite player. Don't normally like new cards but I sure like this one.

This is a Tonibell disc of Mungo Jerry from 1970. It is right before they came out with their big hit "In the Summertime"
Groovy!
edit: Jimmy Page looks like he could use a little sleep! Or some dark glasses? Those discs are out of sight!
