From what I see there is Nu-Card, the Fleer Sets, and some of the CFL, but that's just the 60s. Plus then there are all of those weird sets, like the pin etc that should be too hard to get a 3rd or 2nd in nine months time.
I admit that during the shortened award cycle leading up to the 2006 award deadline, the focus was more on cost - and for once I was letting cards go and picking up the second or third listing at a much cheaper price. Isn't that part of my responsibility? To pick up cards at fair prices? But now that we are heading to the 2007 deadline . . . there are goals to meet.
Someone this past year, I think in one of these olympic threads, said that they thought MOSH was getting cheap. Isn't that akin to walking up and hitting a hornets nest?
Geez....... I can't imagine anybody calling MOSH cheap. It certainly wasn't me. And I have a feeling it wasn't Dav. I did a count and there are nearly 50 sets listed for the 60's. That is more than I thought. There does appear to be expansion room for next year. Something for me to look forward too. He is under represented in CFL issues. Not that we have ever heard of any of those guys, but that hasn't stopped some of us. Now as for that Nu-card set, I don't know. I personally know the guy in third and suspect he may not give it up easily. Isn't it about time for this guy to move on to Golf or Tennis or something?
Wanted: Bell Brands FB and BB, Chiefs regionals especially those ugly milk cards, Coke caps, Topps and Fleer inserts and test issues from the 60's. 1981 FB Rack pack w/ Jan Stenerud on top.
