Vaya con Dios Richard, no more pain for you. My prayers are for the Lord to comfort his grieving family. He will be missed here, but he is in a much better place. Joe
The Ultimate Forum, I hope to see you some time, say hi to my brother for me! Maybe you can PM the members still, when you see them about to make a mistake!
Im sure your happy, David
You can fool man but you can't fool God! He knows why you do what you do!
Apparently numismatics afforded him a great deal of comfort and pleasure during his illness. The comraderie, history, etc. are far more than just possession of a coin or collection. My condolences and prayers to the Holloway family.
May Coinuts value be seen and shared with the Holloway family through the gentle words of condolence through this board. Coinut, you are missed and yet remembered. May god bless, your journey, your memory and your family!

What can one add to the many expressions of tribute and condolence? I see that the fish icon continues to rotate next to the past posts reminding us all of a faith in the greatest fisherman of all that most assuredly provides peace and comfort to those left behind.
Sincerest condolences to his family. He had many friends and will be greatly missed

BigD5, I am very glad that you posted Coinut's passing from this world. I too, had received an email from his son, Dean. I had been corresponding with Coinut since I joined the Forums, in the spring of 2001. Coinut and I spent hours AOL instant messaging, and really got to know each other very well. When I went to San Diego, CA to meet AquilaRose in the summer of 2001, Coinut asked that we do him a favor, and stop in and say howdy to his mom in Chula Vista, CA. We did, and she is the most delightful lady. My friendship with Coinut continued on, and during the summer of 2002, per Coinut's request, I went to Chula Vista, CA, and spent two weeks visiting with Coinut's mom. Needless to say, I had a great time, and got to know even more about Coinut. Coinut and his mom, Betty, became "family" to me. This past October, my roommate, (who at this point was spending as much time as I was on the telephone with Coinut!) and I went to visit Coinut in Newport News, VA. We spent two weeks with Coinut, visiting and helping him around his house. We feasted on fresh blue crab, oysters, and spent hours every evening yakking away the night. He introduced us to his neighbors and friends, and showed us all around Newport News. He was as delightful in person as he was via the internet and telephone. He had the kindest heart, the best sense of humor, and was a man of great honor and integrity as well. We feel a great loss at his passing, and we feel greatly blessed that we were able to get to know each other as well as we did. He will be greatly missed. I raise my glass to Richard, and thank him again, for all that he was.
That is a great story, Marcia. Thanks for sharing that.

And a star gems the sky, gleaming bright.
From afar drawing nigh -- Falls the night.
"Day is done, gone the sun,
From the lake, from the hills, from the sky.
All is well, safely rest, God is nigh.
"Then good night, peaceful night,
Till the light of the dawn shineth bright,
God is near, do not fear -- Friend, good night."
