Program database systems for Fed gov and retire in less than 2 years. Burned out on computers and want to return to the basics. I help my mom every day take care of my dad. Five years ago he was 78 and the doctors gave him 3 months. I couldn't accept that so when we got the news I started him on fresh carrot juice, beet slices and parsley, 3 glasses per day. Doctors said it was useless to try chemo or rad. Since then his tumors have shrunk and he looks as young as some of you newbees. He looks real good now and is stable for an 84 yo man. Had to share in case any of you want to pm me about this. I also take care of my house a few miles away and my small farm in Va which I converted into a fruit orchard and a wildlife sanctuary. It is hummingbird haven in the summer. I reforested the pastures and built dozens of birdhouses I put up throughout the land. You don't know the meaning of "lack of sleep" until you have been in my shoes. Power naps and coins keeps me going.
