Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in New York, PA and Ohio. Also a Certified Fraud Examiner.

Graduated with an MBA 25 years ago from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Oho. Just visited my school and the new building which boasts the fastest all-wireless network of any academic instution in the world. I was amazed. The building was designed and built by Frank Gehry, a well known architect from California.

I'm a coin dealer and I write articles on coins, tokens and political items.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

Yes, he is well known in Seattle, too. He designed the EMP (Experience Music Project) building. And depending on who you ask around here, is either a genius or a nut-case. Of course, you can be both.

Since people have also offered their educational background in this thread, I will say that I have a degree in theater arts from UCLA. After graduating I joined a rock and roll band. At this point in my career, let it suffice to say, I am no longer mint state.

I am a retired USAF pilot (helicopters and fixed wing). As for current employment, I run a start-up company providing an employee supplemental medical benefit that allows employees to communicate with board-certified physicians via the Internet, thus avoiding unnecessary physician office visits.

  • Program database systems for Fed gov and retire in less than 2 years. Burned
out on computers and want to return to the basics. I help my mom every
day take care of my dad. Five years ago he was 78 and the doctors gave
him 3 months. I couldn't accept that so when we got the news I
started him on fresh carrot juice, beet slices and parsley, 3 glasses
per day. Doctors said it was useless to try chemo or rad. Since
then his tumors have shrunk and he looks as young as some of you
newbees. He looks real good now and is stable for an 84 yo man.
Had to share in case any of you want to pm me about this.
I also take care of my house a few miles away and my small farm in Va
which I converted into a fruit orchard and a wildlife sanctuary. It
is hummingbird haven in the summer. I reforested the pastures
and built dozens of birdhouses I put up throughout the land. You don't
know the meaning of "lack of sleep" until you have been in my
shoes. Power naps and coins keeps me going.

i answer questions and solve problems at a small information booth in town, over 75% of the questions are where are the closest bathrooms located!

also i am a lawyer and doctor of advise

but i do not get paid money or anything tangible for this job

and as a side note usually what i do receive as payment is contempt!!

but what i have learned that is i try not to have any expectations and recently i have not been disappointed as much as i used to be and i am the happiest i have ever been in my life.

truth is usually lots more stranger than fiction!

    sincerely michael

my life has been extremely influenced by many many books that i have never read!!

usually whenever i come to a major turning point in my life i keep going straight on

the closer i get to my goals in life the better the chance i have of discovering what it is

why is it that so many of my mistakes refuse to go away??
