Many of my cases seem to be fraud cases, so I cringe when I have to look at Accucrap slabs sometimes pictured here -- torture.

I am a male entertainer (stripper). Business has been real bad lately, doesn't matter how sexy I dance, the tips just aren't coming in. All I get are disgusted, repulsed looks. Yeah...my build is a bit flabby and I don't sport much down south, but come on, I can really dance! image

  • Yum Yum Catch22. After reading your post the Fatman is very hungry. Well since I'm typing I might as well say what I do for a living.

During the spring, summer and fall I am a backpacker. I love to hit the trail for weeks at a time. A few bucks is all I need out on the trail so I just do odd jobs here and there.(JK)

During my time at home it costs big bucks so I am CEO of RGR Embroidery, a wholesale contract embroidery company.

Started as a developer. Have programs published in several books, including "Maximizing Windows" by Boyce and "Windows Resource and Memory Management" by Mueller; MemPro was featured as one of the top 1001 downloads by PC Computing (1995 I think, don't remember now). Moved on to data warehousing with a 1.7 million dollar project for Time-Warner's TDS dept. Did database admin work for Vencor in Louisville, KY (600+ hospitals and nursing homes, they changed their name recently). Consulting work at GE Jet Propulsion Labs (Cincinnati, they make F-16 engines), several banks, including NatWest and NationsBank (both gone now). Clankeye might like to know I also participated in the mainframe to PC conversion (Cobol to SQL) of the royalty collection system at ASCAP in NYC. Also spent some time consulting at Akzo Nobel and Ingram Book Group. Recently been working with large call center apps for Telespectrum in PA (they answer phones for the US Mint) and Teletec Holdings in Denver (they answer phones for Blockbuster and COVAD). Looking for a new gig, but have enough saved to where I don't have to help any more jerks get rich image
  • Sales Manager for the nations largest computer retailer.
    I have icon envy.
  • HA! I have a more boring and unrewarding job than all of you.

I am an Accounts Receivable Analyst for an HMO. Our office deals specifically with high-profile national accounts. I reconcile what the employer is paying for versus what we have in our system. It's boring and unrewarding but it pays the bills. It's also frustrating because I started out in A/R over six years ago, advanced to other positions, and thanks to company restructuring I'm back to A/R. I'm looking to pursue a masters degree so we'll see what kind of exciting career that will lead me to.

I have to tell this story. I took over A/R functions for five accounts this week. I sent an e-mail to the contact at one of my accounts. A day later, I was told she freaked out because of this change. She was concerned so, get this, I had to write up a biography because she wanted to know a little more about the person who would be handling her account. Just when I thought things couldn't get more absurd.

PLEASE FIND ME A NEW JOB!! ANYONE!!! Sorry. But really, PM me if you know of an opportunity in the LA/Orange County area.
