That’s because they are both embarrassments, especially Michigan.

Nope, Michigan had no coach and was a 3 point game in the 4th quarter.

Nebraska game was a total mismatch. Nebraska 7-5 team against a team that was in the hunt for a playoff spot. Utah was favored by two touchdowns.

    OSU 31-20

OSU is the better team, I got them with Utah, Texas, Indy and Georgia in a dreaded parlay

Nope Michigan lost 41 to 27 against a second string defense who had no DC by your standards.

Nebraska against Utah in no way was a miss match. Both of Utahs Tackles opted out of the game and Nebraska still gave up over 40 points.

Utah had to win the conference to be in the hunt for the playoff spot.

OSU is getting bullied in the trenches

    this could get interesting

Miami is winning at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. No reason for Ohio State to panic but they need to find something that works.

    Miami owned the first quarter.

At least when a big game is on we get an intermission from the endless debate over the best conference.
BTW I’m hoping the American Football Conference beats the National Football Conference in the Super Bowl. Just putting it in a thread friendly format. 👍

i'll be stunned if OSU comes back to win this game

Miami showed that they can match them talent-wise, and they look like a team that is prepared to fight violently for 4 quarters

if Fletcher doesn't fumble it's 17 or 21 to zilch and it's all but over already

the Buckeyes better play their best half of the year or a very promising season is going to end abruptly

So Ryan Day beats a crappy Michigan team but loses the 2 big games that are actually meaningful - is this enough for him to get fired? Or is he gonna pull a "Stefanski" and keep his job this time?

Get fired? He just won a National Championship last year lol. They had a young offense this year with all the talent they lost. Should be better next year.

peep this. final seconds of the Michigan game. undefeated Buckeyes dominant all season. ridiculous defense. about to get off the schneid against their hated rival. right before the clock hits 0:00, Ryan Day gets a tap on his shoulder. he turns around and hears, "end of the road, bro. your last W this season."

Michigan led in the 4th quarter and lost to a team favored to beat them. You have a very, very odd definition of embarrassed. I think leading late in a game like that after the turmoil they had is a performance to be proud of, regardless of outcome.

I do agree with the other poster who said that Underwood needs a lot of work. His throwing mechanics are atrocious. I expect Whittingham to get that straightened out. All the news out of Ann Arbor has Underwood staying put.

Ohio State has undeniable talent at the “skill positions” which matches well with anyone. The team weakness which was on display during their last two games is the offensive line. It is Ryan Day’s fault that when it was exposed by Indiana it wasn’t fixed by the Miami game.

That should probably be something the Buckeyes at least consider in the Transfer Portal.

All things considered, the pick six was probably the pivotal point in the game. After that things were fairly even until the last five minutes when Miami controlled both sides with key plays and won. The first down by Beck was impressive.
