adding a gold shield to a regular label is not impossible
That label is exclusive to privy.
The non privy special gold colored label by PCGS can be TV’d but label will not have gold shield printed. This was confirmed by PCGS.
Blue as you would guess can have shield.
If 17,500 max were to have been minted how would ABPP pick up more than 1,750?
“Not all Mint products will be offered through this program, and no more than 10% of products with limited quantities will be distributed under this program.”
Same thing happened with the silver. It appears they are allowing slightly more than 10%

I suspect that will be the case. NZ Mint now sells direct on ebay. I think they finally noticed that people were willing to buy coins at higher prices on ebay from resellers than through the mint website, so why not try to sell direct? Or ebay probably reached out to them.

Looks like the ABPP sales were just a smidge over 20% if the current combined sales reported.
How does ABPP pick up more than 10%
Even (17,500 + 230) / 1992 equals 11%
Assuming full amount plus the privy were minted
One wonders if the 230 Privy ones are included with the 17500 mintage figure liked the silver medal.
If not, shouldn't it has its own Mint Product Code?
I would think included. Mint may have accounted for the 230 Privy under ABPP program and allocated 1762 vs the (10%) 1750 to ABPP participants. Adds up to reported 1992 and 1762/17500 is still 10% out 3 decimal places.
Just playing with numbers. Could all be irrelevant next week.

They can't include them until they actually sell.
Unless the 230 sold internally to a subsidiary within the mint or to treasury dept.
On paper you can account for transactions many ways. It is just accounts payable vs receivable . Even if Stacks guaranteed a minimum return or made advance payment like many auction houses offer, then for accounting purposes would be considered a sale.
Flipped this morning for no more than one second.
There is absolutely NO way to navigate the necessary steps AFTER the item is bagged without using automated tools.
Thats my guess - we have some folks utilizing BOTS again.
I was able to bag one Tuesday but when it came up with red "checkout" today and I clicked on it, it was instantly not available again. What is the process at this point? Should I be refreshing on the bag page as I did this morning? Is there a quick way if it does go to the next page to complete the checkout? Any info would be appreciated.

Asked me if I was human after the checkout button appeared so guessing this is an anti measure against bots. No success.
I see you've bagged a Gold Flowing Hair, and you're trying to checkout. Relax, you have plenty of time...first let me ask, are you human?? By the time you've read that question, your product choice has gone dark again. Try again tomorrow human. Tomorrow's question: What's your favorite color?
Oh bots are definitely active and scoring lots of coins. Cloudfare was running during the silver FH restocks, but oddly enough I haven't seen it for gold.
The best opportunity to snag one was the first day. The best opportunity to snag another one was the morning the limit was lifted. Now, and moving ahead, accept your early am rise in blood pressure.
Ordered the minute of sales opening w budget shipping. Arrived today.
Wow!! I'm SO pleased with this coin!! Looks way better in hand than in pics. I think that it's exceptionally beautiful. The degree of the high relief is hard to appreciate in pics. The Mint knocked it out of the park w this one. So glad that I bought one.
While it's 5 minutes of my life that I'll never get back, based on quick google search info:
Based on a Musk net worth of $318B (OMG!), a 50K value of each of the 230 priveys, the average net worth of American household ($1,063,700 - had no idea it was that high) all 230 priveys would be worth $11,500,000 which, relative to Elon's net worth would be the same as $38 to relative to the average American's net worth.

I agree the coin looks amazing and am glad that I got one at 12:01 on the first day and then a second one later on. The second one should be delivered Saturday.

10,000 would be an awesome mintage number for these. And I would expect them to do very well in price if that’s where it stays
I agree and, selfishly, I hope it stays there, too.

ABPP sales are based on the mintage not the sales
I was writing that if ABPP had 1,994 sales out of (7,941 + 1,994) then that is just a smidge above 20% of the current sales total for ABPP.

Gotcha, but the ABPP should be limited to 10% per US Mint and based on what was reported for ABPP the allocation surpasses even if 100% was minted. https://www.usmint.gov/news/press-releases/united-states-mint-announces-new-authorized-bulk-purchase-program?srsltid=AfmBOopkqpjou_g9cUzzD6Wr4FIw0RfY201z65pDhxETIVbY3pTl-gWO

My theory is that we will see a 2 coin set very soon.
That would be cool. Flowing Hair Gold $1 and Silver Medal set.
The 2 coin set will be the first item at the mint's ebay store!🤣
Or the 2018 1/10 American Liberty Gold

10,000 feels like the number. at least for now. who knows the plans for the other 7500 - or if they actually struck them.
I thought we were supposed to

Barely even saw the button this morning. 33 total. Not sure how many silver came back, didn’t think they’d restock.

Never came up available for me. I kept refreshing starting at 6:28 and nothing.
One of these days the 2025 product schedule should come out and it could have some surprises.

There has to be a backdoor for the bots. No way a human could have checked out that quick in the new series of screens.
In the old format you could have been right at the PLACE ORDER page with PAYPAL already checked and just keep refreshing and then place order.
This format requires you to hit checkout and then select pymt method , check a box and place order. More clicks than last format.
NO POSSIBLY WAY other than using automation you commit that quick.

How fun would it be to be Elon Musk rich and win every auction for these privys! you can control the entire market.
You could. You'd also lose a fortune

Of course, to Elon the value of all 230 priveys combined is utterly insignificant. Must be nice.

Me too! Shipped does not mean the USPS has it yet. God knows how long that could take. And they used ground advantage, not priority!
