Eagles now second favorite behind the Lions to win the Super Bowl.

The NFC championship winner is likely going to be the Super Bowl winner.

You’re oddly obsessed with odds! What does that have to do with winning the NFC or SB?
You never fill us in on who is playing well on your team except for Saquon, who is playing poorly, what they need to do better…. Nothing.
I’m starting to think you don’t know any players on the Eagles except for Saquon. You used to know 2 but Jason Kelce retired. How about some actual analysis instead of the odds?

    Buffalo Bills: +425
    Philadelphia Eagles: +475
    Detroit Lions: +475
    Kansas City Chiefs: +600
    Baltimore Ravens: +800
    Minnesota Vikings: +1200
    Green Bay Packers: +1200

New odds just came out today.

I like Darin. After the Chiefs don't three-peat, in his honor, I'm gonna limit the amount of smack to under 100 posts. 😉

Maybe the Eagles will stay hot at the right time of season this year. Last year they “got the lows” at precisely the wrong time.

It’s good to have someone to root for in the playoffs. It looks like the Tampa Bay team might make it again in their weak division. Less said about the Patriots season, the better. Patriots fans have to root for draft picks.

The playoff bound, and hopefully Super Bowl bound Eagles, with a tough game on Sunday against the Steelers. After a 2-2 start, the Eagles haven't lost a game since. Let's hope that streak continues.

Saquon Barkley, MVP candidate, will have another busy day. If Hurts can play mistake free football, and Sirianni doesn't get too cute with the play calling, the Eagles should win this game.

I keep. waiting for Pittsburgh to implode but it just hasn't happened

If they win the division and get the payoff spot I say they will be one and done.

    Philly 24
    Pittsburgh 23

I keep waiting for Kansas City to implode. How many horseshoes can a team have? They remind me of the early season Eagles last year. They have piled up a bunch of wins, but most all of them were super close.

I am tired of looking at Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reed ads on TV. If I see “bundle-roooo-ski” one more time, I’ll scream.

Lot of TV pundits are proclaiming the Eagles to be the best team in the NFL.

Frankly, that worries me a little bit. 🤔

I wouldn't worry about pundit comments. They will change weekly and through the playoffs. Once one of the contenders have a blowout win, they will be the now team.

Eagles with another tough game today. They sure are receiving a lot of accolades from the media. I'm not so sure it's all that deserved quite yet. They still need to play mistake free football, along with Sirianni not making any bonehead calls, to beat the better teams. Hopefully that will happen today.

The Eagles beat the Commanders around a month ago, but that was at home. Today the game is at Washington.

The Commanders have overachieved this season beyond most expectations. Of course a big reason for that is quarterback Jayden Daniels who is having a very good season, excellent for a rookie.

One thing that could be at play in this game. NFL players in their rookie season, particularly QB's, sometimes if not often hit a "brick wall" around this time. Mainly because they are playing a lot more games and practices than they did in college, and may not be used to it. Plus the stress and pressure can take its toll on a rookie player.

So while it's not impossible that Daniels has another good game today, don't be too surprised if he deteriorates a bit, and does not do very well, perhaps a pick or two, etc.

The Eagles are ahead, but too many penalties, Hurts is hurt and now too many deep balls.

Concussions are tough calls. It didn’t look too bad, but you can never tell how long Hurts could be out.

It looks like the Eagles are going to blow this one. The defense looked like the end of last year on the TD that gave Washington the lead.

Right now I would trade Nick Sirianni for any NFL, college, or high school football coach in the land. The pee-wee football league maybe. 😒

DeVonta Smith with a game-losing drop

seems like every time something like that happens, there's always repercussions. a player rarely makes an egregious mistake like that and the team lives to tell the tale

You're right. But I'm more infuriated about the Hurts injury. I mean the Eagles had the lead, moving the ball well both rushing and passing, and Sirianni in all his "brilliance", calls a designed run play for Hurts. Just stupidity beyond belief.

There is always risk of QB injury especially calling a play like that right up the middle. Okay maybe ya risk it with the game on the line, if ya don't have a Saquon Barkley on the team. But never in a million years in that situation. There was some other chit in the game as well.

    Is Rich Kotite available? 😒

    It's a thing

These Coaches are honestly stupid, I watch Josh Allen run up the middle for a physical 4 yard run while they are in a un losable game, it's mind boggling

And if they're asked in a nice way by a reporter, how they can be so stupid. The coach usually looks like a deer in headlights, and gives some sort of word salad answer, or sometimes basically no answer at all.

It's honestly ridiculous, Belichick used to keep Brady in long after a rampage was well. underway in the 4th quarter, it used to infuriated me

I recall those games whereby the Patriots blew out the opponent. Had it completely won during the 4th quarter, and yet Belichick would still leave him in there. Simply baffling.

It's not like Brady needed the work or something. Brady had the finest work ethic of probably any other QB in NFL history.

    Case in point

Gronk breaking his forearm in a already won playoff game before the Super Bowl because he was on special teams FG unit.

I could go on as you know, Coaches are their own worst enemy

A small number of quarterbacks are like Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen who seem to be made of rubber. Those two can run around can run around like show ponies. The rest will end up injured eventually, sometimes with career ending problems.

Coaches who expect their quarterbacks to do much more than scramble when they have to do it, are flirting with disaster. If Hurts is down, the Eagles’ season is over.
