The Eagles should win this game, but they have bad habit of lying down to teams like this.

In the event the Commanders prevail, is there an email addy we could write to in order to see how long the doctor's think it will take to resuscitate you? Hopefully it won't become a coma issue. In the event either of these two things happen, I'll ask Paul to send the Perkies to tend to your needs.

The Commanders appear to be a 6 point dog, but, ya never know.
I think the big surprise comes later tonight...Bufs win.

    Enjoy da games.

If that's what it takes to get the Perkies to tend to my needs, I think I could fake a coma. Can't be that hard to do, can it? 😎

Paul has them on speed dial, they'll be on stand by.

I think if the Eagles play their best game, and the Commanders play their best game, the Eagles will win this game. That's always a good position to be in.

The Eagles collapsed late last season. Fortunately, they seem to have learned from their mistakes.

Barkley - two carries, two touchdowns!

    E - A - S - G - S !

Can't ask for a much better first quarter.

We shall see how it goes. Remember the Eagles jumped out to a large lead in their last game with the Commanders, but the Commanders came back and won the game. Of course that was the game that Hurts got injured.

I'm not about to count any chickens yet, but this sure isn't a good spot for a rookie quarterback.

The Eagles should have figured on a fake on the punt.

Thinking about it a little bit more, there's no way a Landry, Shula, Belichick, etc, wouldn't have been prepared for a possible fake punt in that situation.

I gotta agree with ya. Sirianni should have seen it coming.

    i'll admit, I didn't see it coming.

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,523 ✭✭✭✭✭

So far, Hurts has brought his A game today. That's what we needed.

Still a lot of game to play yet.

  • galaxy27galaxy27 Posts: 8,285 ✭✭✭✭✭

Elgses loosening them up with the air attack

that will pay dividends for Mayor Barkley

Jalen has to get rid of the ball knowing who their kicker is

absorbing a sack and tacking on 6 yards cost them 3

I seriously want someone to explain this to me because I just don't understand

Philly up 20-12. I know Elliott is no sure thing, but why do you bypass the XP to go up two scores and instead go for two? I know the tush push is virtually unstoppable, but when I saw them going for two I said WHYYYYYYY

I can't comprehend what's going on in that's dude melon sometimes

Edit: they just received a gift TO so it probably won't matter

you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet

other than the fake FG and sack Hurts ate, a flawless 1st half

I hear ya. I didn't mind going for the 2. The math warrants it in my opinion, just didn't get it done there.

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,523 ✭✭✭✭✭

Well, no complaints. The Commanders despite their costly mistakes, are still hanging around.

It ain't over yet. Second half will be interesting.

I just think it's so crucial to make it 9 instead of keeping it at 8

i guess he just trusts the tush push over Eliott, which in that case I do understand

Ya see it more and more out there in today's NFL. The "gunslinger" coaches seem to be in the majority now.

Valid point about Elliott. He frightens me on every kick, including PATs.

Barkley is so good. I really like Phil. chances here.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

the Commanders have no answer for your offense

and when you're down 3 scores in the 4th, you have to have that answer

I have been watching football for nearly 40 years now and have never seen a situation where the zebras have advised they would award a score if there was another false start.

    crazy stuff

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

A lot of time left. I think the Commanders come back and win it by ten points.

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,523 ✭✭✭✭✭

Commanders just signed Tom Brady for the remainder of the game.

    What's up with that?

Commanders fans are without question, some of the finest NFL fans out there. I've always had a deep respect for them, and of course still do.

With a good looking rookie QB like this, their team's future certainly looks bright.

My hats off to the Commanders and their great fans. 👍
