Okay, alright, if I have to do another day in the camp to avoid that dinner with Mistlin, then I'll just have to do it. The North Korea guards now know me on a first name basis, so maybe they'll be nicer this time?

i am a long time Redskin fan. And the Eagles kicked our butts all night last night. The final score was not reflective on the game. I think the NFC Championship Game will be Eagles vs Lions. That will be an interesting matchup.

Before the season began, Washington was 150-1 to win the Super Bowl, one of the worst long shots. They have nicely overachieved, and are now 25-1 odds. So by no means are they out of it yet. They've still got a chance to get into the playoffs, and if they can get some momentum, then anything's possible.

Ahh, a nice quiet relaxing Sunday. Thank goodness our country is on the right track again, my best week for orders in over four years, and the investment portfolio is soaring.

To top it off, the Eagles are on a six game win streak, at 8-2 in first place in the NFC East and heading for the playoffs. Still a little bit of a long shot, but the Super Bowl dream is alive and well.

    Life is good. 😎

I'm pissed they canceled that after one season, I thought that was a pretty good show.

Another one I liked was Black Summer

I never knew they made that into a TV show? I could see how that could make for some interesting stories, etc, if done right. As there have been a number of successful TV series regarding hospitals and the medical profession.

    Eagles-Rams coming up.

i'm gonna make a real in-depth analytical call and say the team that makes the least mistakes will win this game. 😎

Saquon Barkley with yet another lusty performance tonight.

143 yards rushing and still ten minutes left in the third quarter.

I'm trying to figure out who was better, him or Secretariat?

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,159 ✭✭✭✭✭

Saquon with a 31 yard catch.

If he doesn't win the MVP this season, I'm going to demand a full scale investigation.

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,159 ✭✭✭✭✭

I'd appreciate it if all of you would stop PMing me, asking if I can get Super Bowl parade tickets for you.

    Please be patient okay?

Updated rushing stat for Saquon: 159 yards

Sorry I was slow posting it, I'm having trouble keeping up with all these yards.

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,159 ✭✭✭✭✭

    Sorry again, now 172 yards.

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,159 ✭✭✭✭✭

I apologize again for the late posting of Saquon's rushing stats.

My little calculator that I've had since 1985, might need a new battery or something. Oh there it goes finally.

    255 yards

    Yes, it's not a misprint:

    255 yards

having a hard time deciding what's more unbelievable

    Saquon's productivity this season

    or

the fact that an idiot interdivisional team gave him to them and kept Daniel Jones

the Giants' GM makes the Jets' GM look like Isaac Newton

    Barkley = BEAST

It's almost not fair what he did to the poor Rams last night lol

Just like in horse racing where they add weights to the horse in the saddle bag to give the other horses a better chance to compete. The NFL may be thinking about adding weight to Barkley's shoes to slow him down, to give defenses a better chance of tackling him. 😆

I've been thinking about changing my first name to Saquon.

If you happen to notice a Saquonk beginning to post on here, you'll know who it is.

    Nice W @stevek

Very nice win for the Eagles against a good team that is usually tough to beat at home.

Frankly, I had some doubts that the Eagles would win this game. They exceeded my expectations, and I'm quite happy about it right now. 😎

  • DarinDarin Posts: 7,209 ✭✭✭✭✭

The Eagles always get the opponents worst effort… not sure why I guess beating them doesn’t come with any prestige.
Anyway I hope the Eagles are ready when they actually play a team that doesn’t make one mistake after another the entire game.

  • galaxy27galaxy27 Posts: 8,044 ✭✭✭✭✭

this year's Eagles are vastly improved, for two reasons (imo)

    1) they addressed the defensive side of the ball. their D is light years ahead of what it was last season.

    2) saquonk

Barkley is on a different level, he is capable of carrying this team on his shoulders because Hurts passing doesn't scare anyone

That's an excellent point. But I think it's by design. Hurts' interceptions have been dramatically reduced the past around ten games or so. Seems like with Barkley being so phenomenal, the Eagles head coach tightened up the playbook so that Hurts doesn't have to force passes into tight coverage like he was doing before. Other reasons as well.

Whatever it is, it's working, and if it ain't broke, Sirianni better not try to fix it.

He doesn't throw a ton, you guys got solid WR's but they focus on the run game first which is good because it grinds teams down

I just read where the Panthers today are placing an Abrams tank on the field to try to stop Saquon Barkley.

I think that is a bit unfair, but the Eagles will just have to try to work their way around it.

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,159 ✭✭✭✭✭

Eagles had 4 or 5 chances to ice this game in the last three minutes but didn't do it.

Despite the win, they're going to have to play better than this in the playoffs.

I've said this before but the Eagles passing is something to be concerned about imo

Carolina was terrible at the beginning of the season. Now, with a new, young quarterback, they pose an upset danger for every team that plays them. I think Tampa might have its season ended by Carolina in a couple weeks. They didn’t deserve to beat them last week.

Eagles now second favorite behind the Lions to win the Super Bowl.

The NFC championship winner is likely going to be the Super Bowl winner.

The playoff bound, and hopefully Super Bowl bound Eagles, with a tough game on Sunday against the Steelers. After a 2-2 start, the Eagles haven't lost a game since. Let's hope that streak continues.

Saquon Barkley, MVP candidate, will have another busy day. If Hurts can play mistake free football, and Sirianni doesn't get too cute with the play calling, the Eagles should win this game.

I keep. waiting for Pittsburgh to implode but it just hasn't happened

If they win the division and get the payoff spot I say they will be one and done.

With the Lions loss, i'm wondering if the Eagles might be the odds favorite right now to win the Super Bowl?

Both birds flew today. But the key game is next week,Pitts @ Baltimore. So far Pittsburgh has their number. Pittsburgh wins that game they win the division. Hope Eagles softened up the Steelers.

You’re oddly obsessed with odds! What does that have to do with winning the NFC or SB?
You never fill us in on who is playing well on your team except for Saquon, who is playing poorly, what they need to do better…. Nothing.
I’m starting to think you don’t know any players on the Eagles except for Saquon. You used to know 2 but Jason Kelce retired. How about some actual analysis instead of the odds?
