Hey @IkesT can you tell me if this is a harsh carp?

Let me see...where can I find a copy of the 5th edition?

I have one I'll let go of. My working copy with annotations. Only $1000 but to you just $900. Free shipping.

How much for just page 15?

I won't sell just page 15 by itself.

@mr1931S Why did you delete your cute little Einstein meme? :D

I didn't delete it. What you saw was a flash preview. You might see it later in its entirety so stay tuned.

@mr1931S I just bought a copy on eBay for $1.99. If I send it to you, will you write your notes in it for me, please?

Looking through the seller's inventory of books lead me on an interesting journey. For example, there were many fine books on astrology:

The seller also has a copy of The Merck Manual of Geriatrics, which seems like a book that no numismatist should be without. ;)

Good for you. You snagged a real bargain. Sometimes the ebay seller doesn't know their merchandise and what it's really worth.

I would be interested in purchasing your copy if it has been signed by Mr. Harsche (the holy grail of Harsches) but no, my original notes stay with me until I get an offer I can't refuse from a collector who actually READS (the old-fashioned way, out of a book) about coins and who knows real value when he or she sees it.

    OK, I see.

@ifthevamzarockin Would you be willing to write some notes in my new Harsche book, please? Since you'd be writing less than what Harsche wrote, I figure you could do it for about 50 cents less, say $1.49? ;)

Well I would be more than happy to put a few muddy paw prints on it and chew on the corner a little bit. ;)
Writing is kinda hard with my fat paws.
