I think the Browns just packed it in after the 2nd pick six.

This game is getting out of hand now, silly me thinking Cleveland would show up

Browns gotta be the Browns I guess but if they had Watson and Chubb it might have been different

I've never been sold on Watson, he has a tendency to hold the ball way too long and take some tough hits, he did not improve during his time with the Texans. It looked good on the stat sheet but it built up and now after sitting for a year, he can't get healthy, so I am not sure he will ever be top level again.......

I am not a Watson guy at all but I think he would have given the Browns a far better chance than Flacco

    And that contract? Yuck

Two defensive TDs ends a game basically every time. Carolina is a terrible offensive team, they unloaded everything. Stroud didnt win that game, he was good but the defensive TDs and Flacco just being terrible was more important

Er, ah, hello. For the game stats:

Stroud 4 TD passes, no sacks, no ints, QBR 98.4, QB Rating 157.2

Uh thaz near perfect. As a rookie. Stroud didn't win the game for Houston? What planet are you talking about??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Demarco Ryan is loved by his guys and Stroud has lifted that team from the cellar to.a winning a playoff game, it's a good situation in Houston

Miami is lucky to only be down 16-7

Mike McDaniels needs to stop with these moronic WR screens, the entire country knows that is his go to and they blow it up

Dont pay much attention to what basebal guy says. He is an Ohio State Buckeye hater and posts this kind of nonsense daily in the college football thread.

As for Stroud, I knew he was going to lit em up LOL.

    Terry Bradshaw was AMAZING!!

Basebal21 didn’t mention that before the two pick sixes Stroud had his team ahead 24-14 and was playing lights out. Sure the defensive touchdowns were great but Stroud and the offense got them 24 points in the first half. Stroud led that team to victory more than anyone else out there.

Rashee is a receiver they can build around next year. I’m thrilled that he stepped up big time.
Get some receivers to compliment him and the offense could be back!

Defense held them to 14 points and scored 14 points themselves

KC and Mahomes played better than I thought.

It was against a Miami D missing a lot of their better players though

Again I still can't understand why McDaniels needs to incessantly try those WR screens especially in short yardage situations.

    Congrats to @Darin

Does anyone feel like me when your team is in the playoffs’ and another team with a great pass rusher gets eliminated.
I’m specifically speaking of the Browns and Myles Garrett. I know the Texans didn’t have much trouble beating the Brownies but Garrett is a beast. He’s a disrupter, constantly in the backfield making big plays. I know KC has their hands full whoever they play but it won’t be against that guy. 🍺🥳

Exactly, so all of those additional points by Houston that made it a blowout was bc of the elite level, Ohio State trained, quaterback play like we rarely see in the playoffs at that level. Without Stroud, by your reasoning, the game is a tie, without the 2 pick sixes, the game is still a win for H-town. Stroud won the game for Houston using this simple math.

I think when you have an elite qb like Mahomes, who has been there and done that several times before, they rise to the occasion. KC might be really tough in the next 2 rounds.........

If Green Bay follows the game plan buffalo had against Dallas, running it right down their throats against the smaller front it will be a long day for the Dallas defense.

I said Stroud played well just that he didnt carry the team to victory when the defense was responsible for essentially a shutout being at a net of 0 points wise. Houston kicked a FG to start the game so it wouldnt have been a tie.

Browns only had 324 total yards, were 0-4 on 4th downs and 7-15 on third downs. Stroud wasnt exactly great on 3rd down either being 2-8.

Their defense controlled that game and he took advantage of it like hes supposed too. Between the two I would give more credit to the defense who not only scored two TDs but pitched a shutout in the second half. The Browns went over 40 minutes without scoring

And yes Stroud is probably already the best QB OSU has ever put in the pros
