Ahh, it's a beautiful day. Some chance of rain but who cares. The Philadelphia Eagles at least until later today, have the best record in the NFL.

No need for me to sweat and toil today over touchdowns, fumbles, interceptions, penalties, etc. I can relax and have fun feeding the squirrels and watching the birds frolic in nature.

Don't have to carry my nitroglycerin pills, knowing that today I won't need them. Today that bottle will stay in the medicine cabinet. And no worries about my TV screen getting broken.

    Life is good. 😊

    Enjoy it while it lasts.

Going by the first game and a half, the New York Giants won’t be a problem. It seems like the “fair god mother spell” worn off at the end of last season. Six quarters, zero points.

Ah yes, another relaxing Sunday, two straight, whereby I can enjoy a walk in the park and smell the flowers. Without the possibility of a heart attack while watching the Eagles play.

Getting ready for a Monday night game which should be a good one against the Bucs.

Well you'll have to excuse me, I've got some pigeons to feed.

Are you bad-mouthing my Dallas Cowboys? What's going on in here?

If Jerry Jones ever became homeless and I saw him begging with a tin cup, I'd toss a slug in there just to hiss him off.

Right now the Eagles are on top of the standings in the NFC East.

I expect this to remain the same after tonight's game.

Although the Bucs are also undefeated, so they may not go down easy.

The Bucks are better than most people thought. Still, they failed to roll over the Bears who look more like cubs.

I root for both teams, but l’m with Eagles tonight. They were my childhood team, and they have a much better chance of going to the Super Bowel.

Always good to get the first score.

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,167 ✭✭✭✭✭

First quarter in the bag. Ahead 3-0, and start the second quarter with the football at mid-field.

    I'll take it.

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,167 ✭✭✭✭✭

Could sure use a turnover here.

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,167 ✭✭✭✭✭

    Oh yea - interception!!!!!

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,167 ✭✭✭✭✭

Now we're playing Eagles football. 😊😊😊😊😊

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,167 ✭✭✭✭✭

Come on - touchdown here - let's wrap this one up early!

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,167 ✭✭✭✭✭

You gotta be kidding me. 😒

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,167 ✭✭✭✭✭

Now ya really gotta be kidding me. 🤣

Not over yet, but 3-0 is looking mighty good. 😊

First real test will be the Dolphins.

That will be an interesting game.

I hate looking that far ahead though...unless it's for an avatar bet. 😁

Eagles win, but the first half wasn’t pretty. The sustained drive over the last eight minutes locked it up. The Eagles showed class and didn’t run up the score at the end.

I agree with ya. The 3-0 record is wonderful, however the Eagles thus far haven't played quite like a Super Bowl winning team.

One nice thing though, Nick Sirianni is a heckuva football coach. I like his game planning and play calling. No, I'm not comparing him to Bill Belichick yet, but perhaps in the future? 😉

I agree with ya. While it wasn't anything great as Hurts had two interceptions, at inopportune times. This was an improvement over the first two games, as the Eagles didn't allow the Bucs to come back in the game with a one score chance to win.

Nick Sirianni does seem to instill in his players a killer instinct, which also can mean a refusal to lose. Just like Bill Belichick used to do. But in Bill's old age, he can still sometimes get his team to step it up and win.

Does Washington intentionally let the Eagles score a touchdown here?

    Probably.

But I doubt if the Eagles will fall for it.

I knew it. Sirianni got suckered in on that one.

Eagles probably win anyway. We shall see.

I turned this game on a few plays before.

Do you think that's what happened?

    That's exactl6 what happened.

Now I gotta sweat it out for no reason.

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,167 ✭✭✭✭✭

I like Sirianni, but this would be one helluva stupid way to lose a football game. 😒

Overtime for no reason. Eagles had the game wrapped up.

Oh well. No sense getting too hissed yet.

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,167 ✭✭✭✭✭

Okay Eagles, now please don't muck up this one.

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,167 ✭✭✭✭✭

Is Sirianni on drugs today with this play calling?

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,167 ✭✭✭✭✭

    Go for it!!!!

The Eagles have not looked good. Giving up that last second touchdown is not something championship teams do.

Now intentional grounding. The zebras on rooting for Washington.

They made the field goal and win, but they need to play better against Dallas and the top teams.

    4-0 - wasn't pretty, but I'll take it.

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,167 ✭✭✭✭✭

Come on Eagles - I'm demanding a perfect undefeated season.

    Ya hear me? 🏈

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,167 ✭✭✭✭✭

Wow - What a spectacular call by Nick Sirianni. 🦅

17-14 lead at halftime on the road, and that amazing finish. I'll take it! 😊

But all for naught if we don't win the game.....

The 5-0 dinner isn't served yet, but I'm noticing a delicious smell.

I'm not sure why I'm doing DD's trash talking for him, but it seems like his confidence has subsided.

Well Eagles - you be the last undefeated team - don't blow it against the Jets today! B)

holy cow. 4 turnovers today. All Hurts had to do was handoff to the RB then punt, instead he throws the pick.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

The Eagles offense went to sleep in the second half. This team has problems.

Maybe this loss to a mediocre team will wake up the Eagles. This game and the one in Cleveland shows how hard it is to run the table.

The Jets have a very good defense. When their offense does anything or doesnt turn the ball over theyre a problem
