given how lustrous this 1925-S Mercury is, what grade would you give it vs guess the slab grade?

    Tough for me to tell from the photos but I would guess EF45-AU55, leaning towards AU though.

    The coin looks closer to XF than to unc.

    Due to the surface wear and hits to the obverse and reverse it would appear to be circulated and dipped with potential for EF grade.

    If it grades without a cleaning, I'll go 45. I think this like your other has been messed with.

    Certainly "overdipped". Low AU based on substantial wear, most obvious on the reverse.
