I had to vote trime/half dime but 100% of my vote is for half dime only.

Sad you left off one of the greatest designs of the 20th Century...the Buffalo Nickel. Thus, my selection would be split between the two.

Second choice would be the early large cent Flowing Hair design 1794 ish. Then in 3rd place would be the Draped Bust dollar.

Tough decision, I love double eagles and trade dollars. I'll pick DEs this time because I'm still infatuated with the HR St. I just picked up.

Well... since design/denomination were combined... The denomination encompassed several designs in each category. That made it a bit difficult. However, the Double Eagle would be my vote since it covers both categories in several iterations. Cheers, RickO

There are several V nickel patterns that I like much better than the one used. Wouldn't they be fun to collect?

Although there are definitely a few coin designs that I don't like, I can't say that I have a definite favorite.
My favorite denomination is the quarter, because it's convenient, historical, and just the right size.

I like when they're graded low, when they're graded high
Some of them have luster that just oozes for days
give me a little color, I can't change my ways ...

It's hard to answer this with just one design. I tend to get interested in things in "spirts." I suppose if I were to pick one design, it would be this one.

    Followed by this one.

Here is the highest grade Draped Bust coin I have, an 1800 half dime.

Double Eagles, the model for the Saint was a New Yorker like myself. Actually much of the renaissance designs are related to my home state of NY.
