Finished my Type Set Half Dimes!

My current project involves 'converting' my Dansco 7070 to registry format - an album sitting in a SDB just isn't a rewarding collecting experience. Last month I got the final piece of the half dimes, as my 1851, originally purchased NGC64, made raw and an album coin for a number of years, came back as PCGS64. And while my original intent was to submit my existing coins for grading, the financial trade off of grading AU half dimes vs purchasing new lent itself to NewPs, especially as it gave the opportunity to seek out 'forever' coins. The 1851 is the only one from the original 7070 to the registry set. Having reached this milestone of sorts, here they are!

Nice look. I like this type of look/toning.

I do have a question. I can see that the difference in drapery / no drapery is small and maybe/probably not included in the type set. The No Stars however has a notably different look and/or design. So the question is why the No Stars was not include in your type set?

Spectacular coins, congrats on a set to be proud of. Will you be pursuing the pre-capped bust half dimes?

Thanks to all for the kind words and compliments. With regards to the questions of including pre-Cap or w/o star types, I am not, as I am sticking to the traditional 7070 format.

As far as the rest of the set, the nickel section is also recently completed and I will share those at some point. The dimes are pretty close to be done: capped bust from original set needs to be submitted. The Seated Dime w/ Legend on Obverse has proved surprisingly vexing, with the one in album not quiet having the look I ultimately want, and have not found any suitable replacement after serval months of keeping my eyes open.

@ad4400... Those are quality coins indeed - though I am not a fan of tarnish, I can see the great detail on your coins. Good luck with your collection... Cheers, RickO
