These are from my $18 July special.
-Sent in 4 Prizm Mac Jones base and got 3 10's & an 8. Was hoping for a 10 on the Variation.
-The Damien Harris is the first thick card I've submitted and I'm happy with the 9. I've heard from others that PSA can be harsh on thicker cards. Plus, it's the gold parallel #'d /25.
-1990's Topps Chrome refractors are really hard to find nicely centered.
-The Ohtani was bought as a 10 - not part of my submission. His cards seem slightly down now that Judge has overshadowed him.
-The Power Players Nomar was the first time I've cracked a card out of a no-name slab and got a PSA 10.

A few more. Bobby’s prices are good, but Rookie cards cost $750 to sign! Wow ! I asked for #4 on all them but he only did one. He is not signing with the #4 anymore.

Still working on my 2021 Jose Ramirez rainbow. This is variation#77. Series 2 black plate 1/1.
I have all flagship, chrome, chrome Ben Baller, Japan, factory set, opening day - other than 1/1. Still searching high and low for those, and the red sapphire.

I will not likely be upgrading cards on this team set.
won an auction and going to pick up the box tomorow . ill load the cards once get some pics taken . the cards are , new , vintage , game used and serial numbered . won bid at $70
Here's my $18 sub. Only took 2 1/2 months to get it back. Thought the Montana had a chance for an 8, but wasn't sure I get it. Also, thanks PSA for no upcharge on it. The 3 that were disappointing were the Erving 6, the Aaron 3, and min size Jordan.

hey Canes8387899101,
Those are cool...bummer about your S.I. MJ
@GroceryRackPack
Thanks! Overall, I can't complain. Montana definately made up for the min size Jordan. I'll try it again in a future sub, and hopefully it gets a grade.
Finally got a copy of a card I've wanted for 35ish years in the Joseph. I remember doing a book report on him in the 4th grade. Also, excited PSA is grading Star cards again and I can finally end the regret I've lived with for selling my BGS 9 Thorpe in an effort to downsize after my first kid was born.

You can't go wrong with Willie Mays. The upper left corner is just a print mark.
I saw that auction, and wondered if that was a print mark! It’s an odd mark, in an odd location, but it doesn’t take away from the overall look.
And you’re right..can’t go wrong with Mays!
Mine was a "buy it now" purchase for a lot less money as it's only a PSA 5.5. There was an auction for a PSA 7 with the exact same mark. See picture of card above.
Having appreciated, only recently, the beauty of the 1953 Bowman Color baseball cards...I added this 1953 Bowman Color Mickey Mantle PSA-7 in a Golden Auction last weekend. Difficulty in finding decently centered copies...this card is 50/50 side-to-side and 58/42 top-to-bottom. Color pops and inks align on his image producing a well-focused photo of a very young looking "Mick". Print quality is above average w/only one fish eye along the black outline and one on his belt buckle. Corner wear visible to the naked eye on the bottom corners is what keeps this card at the PSA-7 level with this recently graded copy subjected to stricter grading standards than earlier copies.
What attracts me to this set besides the beauty and clean look is that it is the first colored all photographic sports cards ever produced.
Great selection, sir. I love the 1953 Bowman Mantle— it was the first Mick I ever bought. Always found its photo composition so striking. The 1953 Bowmans, due to their minimalist design, are also fantastic-looking when signed. An example below. One subtle nuance to 53B's pertains to their black "frame" border, specifically how it can be either solid black all around or sometimes mildly faded due to a very slight registration shift.
Mine does have the shift of the black outline…but fortunately it does not impact the image clarity of Mickey Mantle. The black line and image inks must be separate processes when printing the card.
Sorry to say, but no one can top this item that arrived just minutes ago.
Every ask yourself what 11 cents can buy you in this day and age? When I was a kid (good Lord, did I just use that line), 11 cents would get you a pretty good handful of candy at the neighborhood corner store (Swedish Fish were my go to) while living with my Grandfather in Scranton. Now, yeah, probably not even one piece but snagged this item that everyone on here will be seriously jealous.
So here is a purchase I made on Amazon for said 11 cents.
Box it arrived in.
BS, your saying. That's a pretty big box for only 11 cents.
Opened it up.
Hah! Just bought a box of packaging. But no. Peel back that layer.
And the reveal of the most amazing purchase made by anyone on here is.....................
And just to show not a joke (the extra cent was tax)
I've looked them over and they appear brand new. No marks on the wheels or toe stop/brake. And that's the craziness of Amazon Warehouse. Buy stuff in stated like new condition and get trash condition and sometimes items graded in lesser shape come like new and sometimes even new.

@VoteDizzy I’m not too familiar with the Star cards. Why does the label say 1984 when the card says ‘85 ?

Loved this set when it came out looking for the elusive Thornton and Marleau rookies and the gold versions even harder to come by and now own both!
