Roman Empire: silver denarius of Lucilla (d. 182 AD), with Venus on the reverse.

Next theme- continue with something Roman, with extra credit it if it features an empress.

Clarification: would anything belonging to someone named "Roman" be considered "something Roman"? :*

No, that would be something owned by Roman. LOL :p

I've noticed your themes are rather over-specific and sometimes difficult, @harasha.

But not impossible. I suppose we'll see, in the next 24 hours. ;)

Treasure Island was an artificial island constructed for the Exposition.

@1984worldcoins Maybe not quite a factory, but how about a mine?
Next theme: Still factory if that didn't count :p Otherwise, mountains!

I vote that that mine was close enough to a factory- especially that building with the chimneys.

So from the theme mountains, I'll play this.

    Next: snakes.

This is about one of the weirdest, creepiest, and coolest pieces that I've had. It is a tree, a Christmas Tree in fact, with, you know, a skeleton...

New Theme--Post a piece with a yuletide theme.

That is an unusual item. I have not seen one before. What is on the other side ? Who issued it, and for what purpose ? What size is it.

The closest thing I have is this:

The closest thing I have is this:

Here's all the information about it from my listing. It's pretty mysterious, with the artist's signature on the reverse not leaving much in the way of clues:

It does have a bit of a Lauchhammer feel, which produced a lot of annual plaques of varying themes in the earlier decades of the 20th century, but this is much much later. Definitely a "Nightmare before Christmas" vibe if nothing else.

How about a Nobel Prize medal?

I took this pic at LIGO Hanford Washington.
It was awarded to Ray Weiss who shared the prize for physics with two collaborators for their decades long efforts to design and build systems to detect the gravitational waves that Einstein had predicted and said would be undetectable.

    Next theme animal predator...
