What is your favorite denomination?

I am curious what your favorite coin denomination is and why.
I have always been enamored with Jefferson nickels, and as the years stretch I find myself increasingly interested in every series of US nickels and now cents. Perhaps because they are the lowest denominations but I think it has more to do with designs and colors. For me there is a lot to appreciate in the various nickel series; Buffalos are simply a gorgeous design, Shields seem to have a deep sense of antiquity, and V nickels can have some great contrast in the design or toning.
Recently I find myself drawn to cents more and more as my type sets fill out. Out of the many large cent designs only one is meh or bleh in appearance to me. My appreciation for the old copper seems to intensify the more time I spend on this forum and I find a perpetually larger amount of cents in my ebay watch list weekly.
Not enough poll options to include the various gold issues, if they are your taste say so.

Lincolns 100% for me.

My Collection of Old Holders
Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Thanks to my senior eyes, I am now drawn to larger coins, halves and dollars; the half-dollar types from 1794-1947 , along with most of the commems, are beautiful designs.

Commems and Early Type
Dimes are small and take up much less space. Mercury dimes are one of the best designs. Classic dimes are nice designs and really tough to come by in really nice grades unlike dollar coins. Roosevelt's are a favorite of mine. Not overly expensive even in the highest of grades and they have some with amazing toning. How many series can most people complete in grades of 67 or higher?

Wasn’t sure how to vote for the gold dollar denomination, so quarter it is.
Nothing is as expensive as free money.
I like the $20 gold because it's a big chunk of GOLD.

I like small coins. When I started collecting as a boy, early Lincons were my main focus, and the occaisional Indian Head was prized. I like the variety of shades on copper. Dimes are my second as I love Mercuries/Barbers, but I find myself bored with Roosevelts.
My strategy is about collecting what I intend to keep, not investing in what I plan to sell.

My newest addition to my half eagle set.
I like big so $50 for gold and $1 for silver.
“Gold” really isn’t a denomination so it seems strange to select it.
That being said, coins stand on their own so I appreciate each coin for what it is.
I wonder if the age of the respondents correlates to coin size.

I agree, except I'm not a girl. I guess I like girls with shiny things.
One Fare
I’ve been on a dollar kick, lately, but the real decision came down to halves and dimes. Halves won the day and I need to add to them.
Gold Dollars
I love most denominations, but cents take the cake. I like Indian heads and Lincolns, an I'm sure I would like Flying Eagles if I looked into them. Followed closely behind is five cent pieces -- nickels and half dimes. I mostly like buffalo nickels.

It depends.
On which coin I am paying attention to at the moment.
I do like me smoe half dollars though (likely because one of my earliest memories is of finding a shiney new Franklin lying on the ground when I was 2-3 years old in the late 1950's; finders keepers).
Gold half eagles
I picked half dollars, which is my current favorite, but it changes every few years or so

Cents.

I was considering dollar, but I not a fan of modern dollars, so I went with my 1st love of Lincoln cents.
Always have been a HALF guy.
Lately, have been interested in Dollars and Quarters.
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍
