I am brand new to this forum and have a stupid question, how did you post the photos? I click on the image icon above this box and it asks me for the image url which then creates a link that makes you leave to see the picture, but you have the photos in the discussion. Would you mind helping this new idiot out please? LOL Thank you
You can't post images when you are "brand new". It takes a few days to a few weeks to become a "full member". Then you'll be able to post pictures.
Thx JB and KC-- sadly for me I sold the MJ and Joe J a ways back for other stuff. Seems like most of us these days are in that boat of needing to part with a piece or two to add a piece, things being so pricey.
I feel like a card has gotta be under a 5 to fit the criteria so these are what I would offer that I still own...
Bought at a card show in Madison WI sometime around 1982 - 83. I was 12/13 years old. My mom would drive me and my buds to see all the eye candy cards. We would clamor to see Larry Fritsch and his old stuff. I think I paid $5 - $10 for it. Still have it. Doesn't matter the grade, it's priceless to me.
Not my lowest grade in my collection, but definitely fits the grade vs eye appeal ratio. this was a PSA 9 until UPS crushed the box on the return shipment and PSA had to regrade it.
I was pulling from 77 & 78 packs and sending in recently, and just kept getting grades like this. I hate to see this for you, because that's a nice card. The worst is that I had 2 '77 Roses, 2 Bretts and a Sutter rookie all returned ungraded for Min Size Requirements. All straight out of a box. Super-bummer.
Cards like yours and others in this thread prove a card need not be high grade to be extremely nice looking. Excellent Color Depth, Centering and Focus allow for many lower grade cards to present as or more beautifully than some cards with a technical high grade.
It's the singer not the song - Peter Townshend (1972)
As 1971's go, not sure 7 is a low grade but that is a sweet looking card. As a collector I'll take well centered 1971 Topps Baseball in PSA 7 over a poorly centered 8.

During the past year I've noticed on eBay the well centered 1971 PSA7 Munson command a premium over non well centered - refreshing to see some folks buying the card not the flip
I love this card. Probably my favorite TM. I have a 5 that's very nicely centered, and keep my eye out for higher grades I can swing. People want these.

Was just delivered the other day and thought it'd make a good addition to the thread.
That said, being the '53 Topps Mantle may be my favorite card ever issued, I've owned many examples of this card in different grades over the years and this PSA 4 is easily the nicest looking of them all (also, wasn't aware until it was in-hand but apparently this example was a KSA 7.5 up until PSA graded it as the old KSA flip was packaged with the card so do with that as you will). . .

@ahopkins - that is a SWEET Spahn!! Dead Centered!! Good Gravy.....Uffdah.
I'll share one more. Still one of the more underrated cards in the hobby. Tough to find with this combination of centering and image quality.
That's a great card @graygator.
Beautiful centering, clean borders and image, and well balanced corners. Super old card and one to be very proud of!!

These two….
Centering on the back is better than the front. Both fresh from the packs before being sent.
A great pict. of a young Trams on his 2nd year card. He certainly was a fun player to follow during his playing days.
Here's a few of my baseball

Incredible cards on display - a strong early candidate for thread of the year, perhaps?
There’s room for one more in the sand box, right?

Wow! Stunner
HOF SIGNED FOOTBALL RCS
That Lefty is pretty sweet looking. Here is another one of my favorites. Still to this day cannot figure out why such a low grade.
Here are 2 from my pile...
Wow! Those two Clemente cards are awesome! Love the 72 Bench IA - has to be crease hidden somewhere but looks like an 8. Won this one two nights ago.

To make up for the flub, here’s a pair of low on grade but high on eye appeal cards…
