My lowest…
I Have more but here's a couple.
I collect hall of fame rookie cards, https://www.instagram.com/stwainfan/
An easy 8 with sharp corners if not for some back damage.
It's the singer not the song - Peter Townshend (1972)

Haven't been able to locate the crease on this one. Assuming it has one since it's such a low grade.
Honorable mention. Many collectors have told me this looks better than a "4". That is a crack in the case in the lower left.

Here are 2 of mine.
Great subject -- here's my rookie card-themed contribution to the thread. . .
Some great looking eye-candy for sure. Scooby that 55 Jackie and 56 Mick are off the charts. Farmboy that 48 Jackie is just an amazing looking card for the grade.
Here are a couple of my lower-grade high eye-appeal.
hey UFFDAH,
Oh Yeah...
The 55 Jackie, Jim Brown, and Aaron are sweet! Couple of mine to try and keep up but those are in a different league.
Always like an excuse to trot out these two red beauties.
I like red cards too. Really pop.
I gave up centering top to bottom (67/33) for exceptional color and registration for the issue...
tiny pin hole above "d" in "outfield"...
Cubbies double play trio
hey sayheywyo,
Pretty cool on your T206's...
That prior Aaron rookie card looks great for a 4.5! Here is my PSA three that presents well for the grade:
Love this Bossy, very representative of late 70s early 80s OPC. One of my favourite cards, the colour is deep.
Great topic! Here's my favorite card in my collection.
Good Lord some heat in here. I was gonna post but Kendall and JB have me destroyed with 5s that look like 9s. I have some accurately graded 4s that present better than 6/7s so gonna stand down.
That 144 Babe and the Jackie/Satch Leaf pair are also very special.
KC I never shoulda opened my mouth and let you keep buying the grade-- feels like I helped create a monster!
hey 80sOPC,
That's a cool one...
Matt - thanks for the kind words. You helped me out a ton and showed me how to collect the right way - buy the card and not the grade, go with centering first and focus on eye appeal and can never go wrong. You need to post some of your monsters since those are industry high marks - especially the Mantle and your old CJ Shoeless.
@GroceryRackPack - thanks. It's a monster low pop Auto card. Will take and share pics once I get the card in hand.
Uffdah, I thought you are the high grade unsigned card guy-- surely that Mantle is way beneath you. Signed Mantles are the lowly basement where I dwell! Get back up to your PSA 9/10 penthouse forthwith!
Winner winner chicken dinner right here. This would be my favorite card as well if I owned it.
Here's a couple of crusty old 2's from my collection.

hey yankeesman,
Pretty cool Arby's...I like it...
Absolutely. I had to pay for a 4 to get that eye appeal. If I saw that 1 for sale I would grab it and sell my 4 in a blink! Such a special card.
Here are mine; the Brett is OC on the back, sorry for the slightly blurry pic.
The west has the slightest dirty surface, just couldn’t get the stuff off.
Some of my best looking 1’s and 2’s in my Mick pc.
I enjoy threads like this one, as these are the types of cards I look to buy. You all have posted some amazing cards. I love the pre-war examples, since that isn't the focus of my collection. Mine are post-war, and tend to be mid-grade, but fit the bill for eye appeal.
- A handful of 71s (since I think the TPG have been exceptionally tough on these over the past couple years)
- A few Aaron, Mays and Kalines
- Other all-time greats that I feel are strong for the grade.
hey bswhiten,
Awesome on your Mickey material...
I am brand new to this forum and have a stupid question, how did you post the photos? I click on the image icon above this box and it asks me for the image url which then creates a link that makes you leave to see the picture, but you have the photos in the discussion. Would you mind helping this new idiot out please? LOL Thank you
I use the “choose files” button shown below and then select an image on my pc/phone. Works pretty well.

NGS428,
That's a real nice Eddie. I love the chunky full centering on top. Beauty!
As a Cleveland fan, Feller is a legend. There is a tiny bit of paper loss on the back, otherwise this one would grade much much higher.
Here's one .

Thanks Matt. Now don't be shy and post that 86 PSA 1 MJ. That is without a doubt the finest PSA 1 in existence.
Here is another favorite of mine.
