Some more backlogged slabs scanned as I catch up
As part of the Big 10 of recent top QB along with Brady I have a whole slew of Drew Brees and Peyton Manning coming back
These are all Drew Brees inserts from various years
Happy with grades. For the life of me I just can't get a 9 or higher on 2005 Prestige colors
If you've ever subbed Pacific stuff or thick jerseys- the Mint and higher are tough to get, so those were some nice hits

The second sub had more Tom Brady which I'll scan in a bit= these were the Brees on the second sub
Some tough inserts and I always enjoy dual HOF players on the same card

Here is a recent buy. I was torn between a 1965 Clemente and a 1958 Clemente. A 1965 Clemente PSA-9 recently sold for ~$20k...and I already have a portrait image of a 1957 Clemente PSA-9. After much consideration...I decided then on a full length batting pose of Roberto in a PSA-8.5
Still chugging through my Griffey basic set. This takes me to 201/221. Total pop of 5 in all grades (no 10's) for this one, so no matter the grade, have to go for it...
Only two known signed in the hobby. Just picked up this black one. Don’t want the other blue ink one because the signatures overlap. Actually emailed Marcel Dionne this week and asked him if I sent him a few Dryden cards and a check if he could get them signed without Ken personalizing them. Marcel politely responded, sorry, that can’t be done. He knows Ken like the rest of us. Marcel owns a hobby store.
got a great looking 92 topps gold set on ebay. i just got in the mail on friday . i took the scans off ebay. the griffey is really great looking so is the thomas gold.
Amazing cards fellas! I picked up this Mattingly/Rags dual from the Yankees Signature Series. I have all but two of the ultra short prints from the base set (Goodman and Jason Alexander) but this is my first dual.

I've always been so fascinated with Dennis Rodman's career and skillset. An extremely late bloomer, he was working as an airport janitor when he had a VERY late growth spurt. He was 5'11" and shot up to 6'7". Bounced from a junior college to a small NAIA school, Southeastern OK State, where he dominated defensively for 3 years. Drafted in 1986 as a 25 yr old! And by sheer will power and hard work, turned himself into one of the best handful of rebounders in NBA history. While he was on the court, he reeled in almost 25% of the available rebounds, which is 2nd all time to Andre Drummond. I think that's absolutely insane, considering Rodman played in an era full of great big men.....Ewing, Olajuwon, Shaq, Robinson, Motumbo, Mourning.

Man, that is NICE. I have that as a 6 and it’s one of my favorites.

Very first purchase in the Ebay ~ PSA authentication Era..... interesting ensemble.....took about another 4-5 days for the interlude to PSA from original seller and back to me.

Absolutely love how that one came out!
Make that 3... here's mine.
Love it. It appears that Ken and Tony signed our cards for the same person.. Same ink and pen, yes ?
It must have been a pretty special person to Ken to sign that card twice for him without personalizing it.
I’m guessing yours doesn’t have a Tretiak sig on the back ? Mine doesn’t.
BTW, the PSA/DNA population report says there is only 1 in existence. That’s why I figured there may only be two. Now there are three. I may have to look into Tretiak signing mine.
By the way, I do a Bobby Orr new item search on eBay last night and out pops this one. Never had a signed one in my collection because 55/45 to 60/40 centering never crossed my path.
It was listed as Nr-Mt to Mint, so hopefully it arrives that way. Will be happy if it’s at least Nr-Mt.

I purchased the card years ago with only the Dryden signature on it... I had Tony sign his portion of the card maybe 5 years ago. As for population report, I could be wrong, but I believe PSA only tracked the Red flip cards and does not include the old Blue flip cards in the pop reports. Again, I could be mistaken but I recall hearing that at one point.
Regarding this 101 card set, I have everyone possible at time of issuance with exception of 4 deceased Russian players.
Some cards, I have up to 4 autographs on. I rarely got the front and back of card signed. Rather, I just got 2 examples of card and had them signed.
That’s fantastic. Well done. Just heard Terry Oreilly just had a massive heart attack. 7 stents put in. Some of these guys don’t have much time left. That’s why I’m stepping it up a bit now to fill in some holes.
While great goalies are being discussed, this arrived today. Much smaller sample size on this guy and long way to go to get into that class but had to buy after watching him recently. Regular Young Guns is on the way.
@azvike - thanks. Without the 2 edge issues this card would have blown away the PSA 9 I once had front and back. It is what it is. Fortunate to pull it, mission accomplished and a collection keeper.

1971 Topps Series 2 Wax Pack Rip - Bradshaw back from grading
i remember when you opened that pack and saw that the bradshaw had that bad edge. great card! that cardmight have at least graded an eight if that edge was not there.
Got to do some more scans this morning. More Drew Brees and Brady with some colors from various series and a dual HOF again
Your probably wondering same as I was how I could have a bunch of Mint 2005 Bowmans Best colors-- then that 5
Well- I didn't send it in that way= let's put that out there. I see a card like this come thru my apartment= its shredded
Literally- I would put in the shredder so no one else would ever encounter its damage
I certainly wouldn't have wasted time & money subbing the thing in this shape
And when all the cards on the same sub were 8 and higher- yeah- c'mon now- let's get real
23 years with PSA, 21 with BGS- I don't sub trash unless its a short print 10 or less and then I'll authenticate slab
Reported as a Quality Assurance issue using the appropriate channels
Second item in the last few subs to come back with damages
I normally do not waste time- but this is getting out of hand on my low serial number items
I've had enough of the damages. It happens now on a card I care about- getting reported
I reported the Bernie, this one, and any that follow
Just in case the numbers on the 05LRS Ruby are not visible kept the last 3 digits open so you can see its a different card
I won't be selling the Gold Holo from the 2007 Playoff NFL Playoffs set either that's not a dupe- rest of these all are

hey 51Wheaties,
I'd be Pumped as well...Pretty Cool...
Back from a couple of early 2021 box breaks some ultra moderns- rest were all Tom Brady
Subbed at the end of March 2021- entered by PSA end of April 2021
Also had some Brady pop on the same order- those I'll scan later on
Both the Illusions box and LRS box were freebie boxes a friend sent for me to break
He kept what he wanted and I got the balance. Subbed what looked interesting at the time-please with these returns
At the time made a post here no one could say what the dark Illusions were ( now know they are Trophy Collections)
Mostly low pop stuff although the Herro and Burrow rookies have quite a few PSA 10
The Allen apparently is just a Pop 2 for some reason
The Dugger auto is #10/10 and cool in person. Being from MA- well was nice to pull from a box
