HK-1002 Semi-Centennial Medal/1826, struck in Brass and believed to be unique would be my choice.
Below are images of an HK-4, the same issue but struck in Pewter/White Metal which sold via Heritage at a June 7th, 2020 sale for around $2k and earlier at Stacks. It looks similar to a medal I owned around 2007 as part of a So-Called Dollar Hoard I stumbled into and then sold around 2009. Strangely, the date had been effaced and the rim filed which led NGC to return it with the notation unable to verify authenticity. That was prior to PCGS getting into Exonumia and I haven't had a chance at another, it's sort of the Holy Grail among SC$'s.
I would have to concur with derryb - plain and simple (I'll settle for) MS65 (or higher) 1907 High Relief Saint Gaudens double eagle (wire edge). I've always wanted one but can't afford it. Second on the list (if I'm allowed) is the silver center cent.
For a US coin:
1793 S-4 SP-67 BN Chain cent, aka "The Coin". https://www.pcgs.com/coinfacts/coin/1793-chain-1c-periods-bn/507167
Unfortunately I can't find a good color photo of this coin, as it has been off the market for many years.
There is a great black and white photo of it in Breen's Encyclopedia.
For a non-US coin:
Syracuse decadrachm by Euainetos or Kimon.
With this type of fantasy/dream question, I feel it is relevant to keep the emphasis on beauty/rarity of the coin,
and not on the resale value.
So I would frame this type of question as:
"What coin would you like to possess for one year at no cost, and then return for no payment."
You Suck! Awarded 6/2008- 1901-O Micro O Morgan, 8/2008- 1878 VAM-123 Morgan, 9/2022 1888-O VAM-1B3 H8 Morgan | Senior Regional Representative- ANACS Coin Grading. Posted opinions on coins are my own, and are not an official ANACS opinion.
Some of you guys are thinking too small. You should pick the most valuable coin there is and then sell it and buy several coins that you would actually want to own.

Latin American Collection
I'm having trouble choosing between a nice Chain cent and a 1794 $
When I collected halves, to me this coin was the ultimate. Would still love to own it someday (or one of the other five).

1922 High Relief Proof Peace Dollar (Matte Finish)
From a former member, who unfortunately recently passed, and was quite famous for other parts of his collection.
He was always nice to me and I always appreciated his wit and eccentric way.
Plus, it is the quintessential Draped Bust Quarter

1792 Disme
I am a newer collector (started April 2020), and I primarily focus on U.S. Half Cents and Type Coins. Early copper is my favorite.

I'd like to select from the @boiler78 collection, thank you very much!

1913 Liberty Head V Nickel
The U.S. Mint struck the Liberty V Nickel from 1883 to 1913, but just a reputed five coins were minted in the final year's vintage😎
No question! This is the easy answer. I agree. It is likely the most expensive and one of the most beautiful US Coins to exist.

1817/4 Bust half.
I remember having a copy of Coinage or Coins magazine with the J-1776 on the cover back in the early 80's.
An Ultra High Relief MCMVII St Gaudens would be awesome. A High Relief MCMVII would be a nice "album filler".

Mint state 1877 or any grade 1856 flying eagle
$50 Octagonal Pan Pac would be nice. I'd take a round one if I was 'forced' to...
1974 aluminum cent. I will risk 20 years in Superjail for that one!
