I will likely get one of these.... Have to decide whether I want the two and a half ounce or one ounce.... Nice obverse on that medal. Cheers, RickO
Holy smokes. Those are really nice. Grandpa, father WW2 and WW1 Navy. I’m down with the one ounce but I may have to try and sneak this in 🙀😉
🎶 shout shout, let it all out 🎶
I'm in for one. The medal has the Naval aviation community represented on the back. Ordies are still one of us. I was avionics.
Throw a coin enough times, and suppose one day it lands on its edge.
Just looking at this medal again... It does not give the composition anywhere... I checked and the edge is 'plain' per the mint document. Seems strange... usually content and weight are included on the piece. Cheers, RickO
Will get one of each on the secondary market.
Of course, graded by our hosts.
Go Navy!

2.500 TROY OZ. OF 99.9% SILVER I love silver proof coins. This is the first medal I have purchased. I really like the design.
You missed the first 2 issued last year...Airforce & Coast Guard. ( are available only in the secondary markets)
Later on this year will be: US Marines
Next year: US Army & US Space Force
Mint indicates ... only 1,077 left...this item may go dark soon.
Fastest shipping ever?
I know. I busted the budget last year with the type I & Type II Gold and Silver coins. I had to sell all my 2021 Morgans to help cover my spending. I will look at the new ones to see if I like the design. Luckily I have completed the twelve step program and recovered from having to buy everything in a series and manage to only buy the coins I really like.
Heads up....only 80 available....
This product is currently unavailable.
Sold Out? Took exactly one day.
Wow, much different story than the Air Force and Coast Guard medals. Happy I landed one.
I think this medal appeals to a broader base from Navy buffs to military's buffs to people who like ships and sailboats to people who just like neat pictures on silver blanks. The last two categories did it for me.
Mine was shipped this morning by UPS. Happy that is was not sent by the USPS as their reliability has continued to decline. I have never had an issue with UPS.
Mine has also shipped via UPS
Mine shipped today also. I completely forgot about the medal until I saw you guys posting about it. I got my order in before 10 pm Friday.
Throw a coin enough times, and suppose one day it lands on its edge.
arriving tomorrow. Ordered Friday and to be delivered Wednesday. Fast shipping by Mint. Fast Delivery by UPS.
HEADS UP...

looks like we have two threads for this series
Try to keep postings for the Marine Corps coin on the new thread.
Missed the Coast Guard and Air Force, did get a Navy. Later picked up the Coast Guard for $140. Air Force presently being offered at approximately $250 and up buy it now on eBay, will wait a while before I look for that again. Suspect that the Coast Guard not as much in demand as that service is much smaller than the Navy or Air Force. For those of you who don't know, the Coast Guard, in time of war, becomes a part of the Navy. I guess they do this to help the Navy out when they get in trouble. Ha ha! Navy people don't like this when I say that. Because the Marine Corps is also part of the Navy, will pick one of those up, or try to.
I liked the Air Force obverse, but didnt care for medals and didnt want to spring for a 2.5 oz silver medal at the time - too many other things going on that secured my wallet. But I may pick up a 1 oz USAF medal (or 2, or 3) in Aug (~$65 according to the enrollment price)?

This probably sold out on the strength of ex/current USN which has a Heritage as strong as any of the Service Branches.
Like the Marines medal also in for 1.
Order for USMC medal acknowledged by Mint. Said would send confirmation within 24 hrs. Is this usual?
Also saw EBay seller offering for $330 today, 4 available, with one sold already before noon eastern. Presume that buyer isn't aware of Mint direct online sales.
How is an EBay seller able to offer 4 coins with a 1 coin HHL?
