I'm in. Got page not found 2x when placing final order, but the 3rd try got thru.
Got the order confirm email almost immediately. Hope that means something.
And, at 12:10 (yeah, only 10 mins, but NOT an immediate sellout) -
I feel some guilt but not much 😂
It’s the ase’s I’m in a self help program for. Plenty of time to dump it before July, or put it with my other colorized mint coins and start a set
I'm wondering if the Mint has found a solution to the flippers and bots clogging up the system: pre-ordering with shipment down the road a few months. If that does it, I congratulate the Mint for helping us collectors.
Getting Sally Ride is a knife fight, but not a purple heart commem???
Investment 45 cents per quarter vs $95. Many quarter collectors may feel they need these to keep sets complete, and the mintages on these is pretty low at around 300,000. Also the finish on the roll set coins is uncirculated as opposed to business strike so if you just collect quarters you can skip the mint set, and of course the S mint.
Neat trick with regard to using "inspect element" to gauge inventory; thanks for sharing. Looks like 55% of the inventory is sold 45 minutes after offering....

God forgive me...but I like the colorized version much better than the "traditional" version.
I'm now going to set myself on fire for saying those words!!!
BTW...has the Mint ever revealed how they're colorizing elements? What does that machine look like?
The coins are sent to China, where they are delivered to grammar schools for the kindergarten and first grade students to color using crayons, colored pencils, or tempera paints. These are hand colored originals!!!

In and out in 24 seconds! Not much lag or freeze. Is there demand?

Got it too -- also had an issue with "page not found error", but the third try went well. The coins still seem available.....
Took me 3x but order went through. Regardless of demand, I bought because I like the design.
Where do you see that?
I was out @12:02 # 12722XXX.

Same with me - twice. But third time was a charm and I got through and made order.
I got the page not found twice. Turns out I was trying to approve an incorrect expiration date 😂 on my CC.

I like how those eBay listings say delivery will be in April. The coin won't be shipped until mid-July!
That’s going to be a pretty neat trick. Talk about early release 😂🙀🦫

They probably saw the sale of the coin ends 4/25 ... and stopped reading. Wait, bots read English??

I get to page source but I don't see find to click it.
And PS...my wife turns to me earlier and says "That wasn't bad...what are you always complaining about?"
So like Archie Bunker, I said, "Stifle yourself over there!"

Then there’s these random listings
( I don’t sell on eBay or anywhere)
I can’t find em for much less than $250 ish. This is a four pack and seems to be a good deal.
Make offer available.

Should have been clearer. In Firefox go to 'Edit' on menu bar and click on 'Find in Page.'
Enter your data request.....'availablecount'......'data-available'
availablecount seems to be locked today.
Data-available = 11,831 currently.
Looks like 24 to 48 hours before all are sold.
I was able to open find box using Ctrl+F (Google Chrome)

They’ll lift that HHL tomorrow and these will be gone, quickly. I don’t think they will last through the night. We’ll see.

Could not locate any information specific to the "Purple Heart" coin.
FWIW, the Mint outsourced the colorization of the Basketball coins to LulaRose.
Reference
Edited to Add: CoinWorld indicates that the colorization process for the "Purple Heart" coin is "a post-strike application by an outside vendor".
Link
Is it post mint damage? If there’s a problem with the colorized process resulting in say , offcenter coloring?
