"This might be the prettiest Ike dollar ever". An amazing coin!

Not my auction
This is a pretty Ike, and I'd love to know where it came from (before grading).
Your thoughts?

My Collection of Old Holders
Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Quite colorful. The 40% Ikes seem to get some wild toning patterns.
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
It was in the most recent Legend auction and was the subject of this lengthy thread:

I Like Ike!

My dealer friend has one quite similar. Although, he's only asking, $4000.
"Jesus died for you and for me, Thank you,Jesus"!!!
--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line. It's an Ike. Already discussed ad nauseum. The toning is pretty. It was almost certainly reviewed and not stickered by JA.
I'd easily pay 2-3 times the usual price for it. In CoinFacts a 68+ is listed as an $800 coin. I'm in around $2k. Others might like it more. Good for them.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
Think of all the nice coins I could buy for 19.5 K.

Ike grew a 'stache and beard.
Wow! I’m glad……and anxious as I sent mine in for grading. I really wonder what I’ll get.

I can't believe this was discussed three months ago. And I responded on that thread three times! When I stumbled upon this today on eBay I had not put the two auctions together.

It happens to us all! I've been there where I see a familiar coin but can't quite place it.
Its still ugly...where's the coin dip when you need it....
1974-S Eisenhower Dollar
grade: PCGS MS68+

That coin is currently offered by Timothy E. Carroll's Numismatic Financial Corporation (NFC Coins), who says:

On the 10-point scale, this one rates "off the charts".

If I had the loot, I would buy it along with that Franklin. This ole boy
likes both of them.
It's the holidays. Let your credit card give you a gift
The good news is I'm color challenged, so I won't be interested.
It really looks horrible to me, but that's ok I'm sure a lot of folks think differently.

Beautiful Ike...
So the reverse is a blast white? Wouldn't natural toning affect both sides or is it because of how the coin was stored...one side never exposed? Could this be the result of AT?
Not being a fan of tarnish, and having much better (to me) things to spend my money on... I will not be in the rush to acquire this environmentally damaged coin.
I know that will be a surprise to many
Cheers, RickO
One of our forum members asked me to shoot this Ike seven or eight years ago. Nice that it has beautiful toning on both sides.
Lance.
I have no desire to collect IKES and definitely am not going to pay extra for toning (man-made or not).
More power to those who do.
I do have a box of raw IKES collecting dust somewhere. lol
