She actually picked this out herself? Wow, impressive!

Yep! She knows that I like 8.5s and, I have pointed out card qualities like centering, tilt, corners, and color. I have to admit I was impressed. She has collected a few nice pieces of art...so she has a good eye. She said that she noticed that I was looking at it and comparing it to recent PSA-9s.

Jeepers creepers that is nice. Awesome of your wife to do that. Does she have a sister or possibly a hot cousin/niece of age ?? LOL.

I agree - 8.5’s are my favorite grade. Good balance between super high end, and don’t have to call a divorce lawyer like you would with a PSA 9. That card is a stunner for sure.

Agree...I'd never seen one until I stumbled upon this one - and admittedly not familiar with Sportkings products. I typically do not collect patch cards, but thought this would make a nice addition to my Payton collection.

Huge pickup for my 1979 Staubach collection, literally and figuratively. Uncut sheet A, which has not only Roger, but Payton, Campbell and Lofton rookies among others. This means that basically, the only possible way to have a 79 Staubach that I'm missing is showing on the back of a wax pack.

    Very Nice ....Truly Awesome!

The 1979 Football set is simply gorgeous. The ALL PRO cards look beautiful. Roger's 77-79 cards are awesome. I think 77 and 79 are 2 of the nicest cards in the entire hobby....and I'm a 70's Steelers fan. LOL.

Found this card last month in a box. I didn’t even know I had it. Luckily when I pulled it from a pack in 2018 I was smart enough to penny sleeve and top load it. Just got I back from PSA Friday.

And that’s why I have monster boxes full of modern that we have ripped! Awesome and congrats!

@Chicago1976 Really nice card of an under appreciated player. Nice color and centering. Always tough on this set.
