Awesome!
Like most of my grabs, it’s pretty and it has some flaws. This year design can hide them pretty well:
1964 Topps #50 Mickey Mantle
Curious about the rare, mysterious and beautiful 1951 Wheaties Premium Photos?

Nice pickups
I have to say where I am from you would never see nice graded cards like that. If so it would be 2X value to buy.
Nice Mick
Don't see many flaws at all.
1948-76 Topps FB Sets
FB & BB HOF Player sets
1948-1993 NY Yankee Team Sets
Love the look of this year's UD Black Diamond. The 2 color patch is nice as well too.
Hiya Tim
I picked that card up raw years ago and sub'ed it to PSA - came back a 6 - was very happy.
I think the card looks great.
A Red Heart Spahn...and a cool bobble head from my brother.
@Chicago1976 that warren Spahn is absolutely beautiful!
Thanks Rofles! It was a nice find. I really like the Red Heart design. Own 2 now, thinking about getting more.
I love the Red Heart cards. It's the first graded set I did. That is one of the nicest PSA 4 Red Hearts I've seen. How bad is the centering on the back? If you see a Red Heart Spahn that is centered on the front, the back is always off centered.
Picked up the the Miami Hyatt card show this weekend.

The biggest lesson I've learned in this hobby, and in life, is that if you have a strong conviction, you owe it to yourself to see it through. Don't sell yourself, or your investments, short. Unless the facts change. Then sell it all.
Yes, you are correct. It is off centered on the back. But I agree, still looks really good for a 4!
A couple of football cards.

I know I said this about the 68 but the 67 Alworth is a beautiful card
yes it is.

This is more in the found in a pile of cards and left for dead...
Just a really nice Mariano signed card IMO.
please let me know the next show you are set up at, your booth number and the exact time your 10 for $10 boxes will be put out! i will be more than happy to wear a mask 😉
You're knocking down a lot of Alworth cards. Very nice!
Thanks I just need 3 cards.

I did not have the cash to pick up the. 1963 Fleer I saw this weekend. It was a PSA 9 Mint. Think I would have to sell a kidney to get it.
Yeah I know. It is a high dollar card. I bet that looked very nice.

I've got them all as I started collecting him a long time ago. I've got four of his 63s that I've gotten signed. They're around PSA 7 quality. I doubt I have anything that would be above an 8 if I were to get it graded. I just focused on nice examples that would look good signed.
67 topps football is just an awesome set in general! really wish they'd go back in those designing directions for a year or two.
Great packaging too!
6x All-Star, NLCS MVP, Gold Glove Winner, Silver Slugger, RBI Leader, Will's #22 was retired by the Giants last year, The Thrill!

I have been finding some nice Bazooka boxes lately.
How is that box a 4.5? 🤔
I was thinking the same thing. I am not a box guy, but that looked very good to me.

Another Reggie, I forgot how pretty this card is.
really nice card!

Haven't bought much but am going thru old boxes and finding stuff - can't believe I found an unopened pack that I bought at least 10 yrs ago! On the other side there's a label that reads: unopened as rec'd from Mark Murphy.
Also, I was looking at more recent rips over the past few years and came to the realization that a Wander Franco "gold" is quite the catch.
1954 Bowman 1 cent pack:
This Jordan is popular - not sure how rare but it caught my eye - it's at least a 9.
PSA can be horrible on boxes. I sent in a Milk Duds that I thought was perfect and it came back a 6.
Oops wrong one.
Here's the 6
Love these Panini Stained Glass cards. Got this in today (makes for two of these first year) and I have 3 of the 2013's.

I am a big fan of the complete major league stat line on the back.

og stained glass. a ton of potential and upside there!
i love the vintage logo and eventual turn into vintage stock. probably my favorite parallels tying vintage to modern! had no clue they went back to ‘03 though.

recently caught up with a couple of 2X Masters winners who were unafraid of the corona
you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet
LOVE the Moss!! Great pickup!
Got a few in from some collectors in the UK this week. 4 1of1s and the Donald.
They did 2003 at a limited number of players, 45 I think.. Crazy pull numbers.. It's the first one I have seen in pretty much daily searches since 2003..

As a Colorado guy, I like what I see from this kid. Murray is out for the rest of the year and Jokic needs a side kick. So I grabbed a rookie. He can score. That’s for sure. Hopefully the rest of his game continues to develop.
Collecting:
post world war II HOF rookie
76 topps gem mint 10 commons 9 stars
Arenado purple refractors(Rockies) Red (Cardinals)
successful deals with Keevan, Grote15, 1954, mbogoman
^.i agree wholeheartedly. i am holding all my mpj cards. kid can shoot.
I don't own many ultra-modern cards but I like Soto and Acuna (like everyone else) so I picked up a couple of nice looking Rookie AS cards (IMHO). I particularly like the Acuna's look. They aren't bigtime cards like many of you display and own but I think they are nice. And, for the record, I know VERY little about ultra-modern cards in general aside from the fact that refractors are cool.
Some non card items that I purchased cheaply:
Ball Four Dell paperback circa 1971. Even the back is hilarious:
Non sports autograph of a great lady. I was born and have lived in Knoxville/Nashville most of my 54 years so this one is special to me:
I picked up a nice handful of lacrosse postcards recently.
