earlier this month i flashed some graphs from this gentleman, but boy has he been busy lately. Mr. Coody recently unloaded a sizable chunk of his golf belongings to an auction house and i was fortunate enough to procure a few of his Masters player badges, which surface on the open market less often than bigfoot. the '08 (Immelman) was nice, the '10 (Mickelson) was nicer, but the '15 (Spieth) was the one i refused to come in second place on.
and because i desperately needed a place to put my 3 dollars, i also snagged one of his pga tour money clips
This arrived today. One of the "big three" tough 1962 commons along with Foytack and Landrum. I picked up a nice raw Landrum a few years back and was fortunate to get an 8 on it. Now I just need the Foytack to get those out of the way.

Looking for thoughts on this card. PSA does grade them. Not going to send it in until/unless grading opens up. The "junk" on the right side is some paper from the back of card, has kind of a rough cut on reverse.

1971 Topps Basketball is not only COLORFUL....but GROOVY & absolutely loaded with STAR POWER!!
31 Hall of Famers possible and that's just on single cards and not including the League Leaders or Playoffs cards. There's also the Pete Maravich second-year single plus Rick Barry, Dan Issel, Nate Archibald, Dave Cowens, Larry Brown, Bob Lanier and Rudy Tomjanovich ROOKIES.
i won this great card on the four sharp corners auction. i had enough left over from my taxes to buy this. been wanting a biggio glossy ten for awhile.

These are my first additions in a couple months. The 1961 Scoops are new additions to my Scoops set. The Scoops set is much tougher in PSA 9 or 10 that I thought it would be when I started it. It is an 80 card set and I still need 10. The 1964 Stand-up cards are both upgrades. The Osteen is a pop 4 with only 2 higher.

Couple 55’s for my Misc vintage collection! Probably gonna super-express one of these next week!
Man, you do have quite the eye for raw! Talk about a disconnect between SMR pricing and reality on this card! It’s a 1-of-1 none higher 9, last sale was about 15 times the SMR!! If super expressing you would hate to get an 8, but the risk/reward is certainly there!
The mail picked a bad day for it to run late. These just dropped off about 20 minutes ago
Finding what I consider a decent 63 Unitas has been a nightmare. It is one of the final 2 needed to complete my basic set 63 Topps has terrible centering and then mix in colored borders and being numero uno in the set and it is slim pickens for anything quality. I won it for well below my snipe so I got lucky and was able to divert extra cash to my other pickup
4x All star, Solid 95 season finishing 2nd in MVP voting, leading the NL in HR, RBI, Slugging, total bases and hits. .299 lifetime hitter, the Real Bichette..

for me. That Johnny U. is really top notch!! Thanks for sharing.

just a side note of useless info. in the farrelly bros movie, kingpin, johnny unitas was the inspiration behind roy munson’s dad’s character, calvert.
one of his lines in the movie before sending roy out into the world was:
"One day, when people say the name Munson, they're gonna think "winner." Just like DiMaggio is to baseball or, or Unitas is to football, that's what Munson will be to bowling." -Calvert Munson

First time poster, just back into cards after 30 years. Working on my 1984 Donruss HOF set.
Beautiful set but if you have Rose's card (he definitely should be in the hall of fame) then you have to get Mattingly's card (who also should be in the hall of fame) too.
