That was a brutal loss on saturday night but overall I'm not too down on this season, they were much better overall than I was expecting. Like craig said above, i'm hoping that Mac gets some more freedom in this offense next season but a huge question right now is will he have the same OC in McDaniels still, who knows?

It was a good season, I’d like to see them get some Lineman and WR’s this off season and draft.
My first post in this massive thread and it will not be negative.
The Bills lost to the Chiefs in last year’s Championship game. The team they built was to beat the Chiefs. They faired poorly against running teams but the ultimate goal was the Chiefs and here they are.
New Englands off season goal has to be how do we beat the Bills? If they ever want to get out of the division, have a home playoff game the goal has to be the Bills.
Josh Allen isn’t going anywhere for the foreseeable future.

The Pats don’t need to address the Bills specifically, they just need to get some solid Wr’s and DB’s. The rest will take care of itself
NE meeting up with Buffalo for a 3rd game was completely out of the norm and in no way should NE be making offseason moves aimed to beating this one team especially when they split the two regular season games.
For so many years over on the ESPN AFCE comment section I listened to fans of the other three east teams repeatedly talk about building a team to beat the Pats which was just wrong on so many levels when each team still had 14 games (now 15) against other opponents.
Sure in Buffalo's case their offseason moves were aimed with KC in mind because they had just come off a AFCCG loss to them and in all likelyhood to get to the this upcoming SB Buffalo would probably have to face KC again.
Belichick needs to stay on the path of retooling this roster and surrounding Mac with better players on offense so his development in 2022 takes the next step forward.

There is talk of McDaniels to the Raiders and Bil O'Brien back to the Pats. I don't like that. It seems like BOB got fired on purpose to get back here. He supposedly wants to take over.

I’d take Brian Flores or Matt Patricia over BoB any day if it isn’t McDanirls.
If Josh Allen keeps running around like a half back, some 300+ pounder is going to lower the boom on him and shorten his career. I have seen too many quarterbacks, who run around like will of the wisps, get clobbered.
Half backs have shortest careers in pro football for a reason. If a quarterback acts like a half back, he is not immune.

And if he gets a serious injury, blame it on the head coach. McDermott needs to rein him in before he becomes another RGIII. Coaches love to succeed, but sometimes it's at the cost of a player's career.

I mean the WR position is a glaring problem, I don’t even think Kraft in his old age would even put up with that nonsense.

That's what they said about Colin Kaepernick, RG III, Russell Wilson and other running QBs. Allen is one run away from a career ending injury.

I have had many complaints about McDaniels, but I am well aware that the grass isn't always greener.
I’m surprised McDaniels went for the the Raiders, like in that link I was hoping he was going to wait till Big Bill retired.
Looks like BB brought back Joe Judge to be their Offensive Assistant rather than just name him the OC outright.

I like Judge returning, whatever his title is. I'm definitely worried about our bleeding of assistants over the last few years.
