    ^ the coins in hand look way better, the pictures i took with my surface pro, do not reflect that et-al.
    too bad that my first two Mexico Spanish Colonial from Charles IV were not on the mail yet... will post those too.

    For those that collect any overdate variety & the assayer, is this something special?, I bought it because I liked the coin, did not put any attention to the description.

    I have been collecting mostly Roman emperors, but I recently purchased this Roman republic denarius.

    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    Not sure “Delete” is the best name for a thread with over 100 comments by many different posters who put time and effort into their responses. How did that happen? Can it be restored or fixed?
