My latest 8 Reales arrived today looks very nice the images are dark so they do not do it justice. Done buying for a few months now have to save up.

This has to be the nicest 8 Reales I own the images from Ebay truly do not do it justice. It was certainly worth the price. I don't own a camera otherwise would show you guys what I mean.

these just came in - €20 bu, €20 proof & €100 bu natures of france laurel coins in .900 silver [2nd in series of oak, laurel & wheat]

the €20 bu came loose in a small velvet pouch, the €20 proof in a capsule & box, and the €100 bu in a little black folder with a cameo window in which the coin is set - certainly quite an array of packaging - not a fan of the €20 bu loose in a velvet bag, but all of them had great surfaces

the €20 bu & proof also have [nearly?] indistinguishable surface finishes, so not sure yet how to tell them apart if they were sitting side by side on a table

the €100 bu is massive [47 mm, compared to 33 mm for the €20 coins]; really appreciate the size they went with with that one

That's a tricky question. It's from a Prince-Bishopric of Munster, at the time part of the Holy Roman Empire, now part of Germany. From the seller:

incredible - have always loved these coins - small, simple, pretty - but a silver piedfort with a mintage of 64 - extra nice 🤌💥

I’ve always thought a very smart idea to use the crowned cypher rather than try to put the king’s bust on such small coins.

Although I haven't focused on it at all yet, I'd eventually like to build a set of coins with royal monograms/cyphers. They tend to be minor coins, due to space limitations.
