    This forum has helped me take my coin collecting in different directions. I couldn’t post this earlier, because the auction just closed out. As with others, it appears my new favorite, while gold, is no longer US. That said, it’s old ✔️; it’s gold ✔️; I’m part Finnish ✔️; I actually liked the holder.

    So, the coin that excited me this year:

    Ok, and just FYI my eyes are not brown and they wont change.
    I was steering towards my avatar coin, Canadian 25 cent.
    But this takes the cake.

    @TennesseeDave I’m not a fan of the trade dollar design generally, but your coin looks like a SUPERB example. Bravo!
