Should have picked this up years ago! Once he retires, this will go to my Post WWII HOF 1st Ballot Set.
Great pick up!
I shoulda, coulda, woulda, picked up the PSA 10 four years ago for $500.
Today------> $4500
Albert's a shoo-in 1st rounder.
My hope is he doesn't drag out his career and diminish his legacy

Too late. He already has. Shouldn't matter. Didn't for Griffey.
Main collecting focus is Patrick Roy playing days 85/86-02/03, expect 1/1, National/All-Star stamped cards.PC Completion: 2,548/2,952; 86.31% My Patrick Roy PC Website:https://proy33collector.weebly.com
I've had a 1970's Linnett portrait of Yaz for a while, but had heard there was a "no Sox logo" variation, which has other differences too. When one finally showed up on eBay I quickly hit the BIN. Unfortunately it was really poorly packaged and was badly damaged, but I'm still happy to have it:
And here's the other version I've had for a while:
A couple of ‘89’s for the Eric Davis collection, and a beautiful McGwire that I stared at in awe at a card show 31 years ago with nowhere near enough coin in my pocket to purchase. I did walk away with McGwires ‘89 bowman that day instead. Also was a cool card, but definitely a distant second. 9 year old me is very happy right now, and so is 40 year old me
Snagged this before it really takes off. Top 3 all-time American born player in NHL history, with a good chance of becoming the career leader in scoring among that group if he stays healthy:

Love the Davis cards. If you had to choose 1 of his rookie cards which one would it be? Donruss, Topps tiffany, fleer, Topps? I’ve been looking to get one but can’t decide.

I don't think I've ever seen a Mothers Cookies card with square cut corners before.
Yup, hand cut version. 1989 Griffey cards were issued in packs with the traditional round corners. They also issued uncut strips of 4 cards (full set). Hand cuts have total pops under 30 while the round corner version is around 1,000 to 2,000.
Solid find. I am choosing between this 90 Leaf Walker and the Topps Tiffany. Leaning toward the Tiffany, but love this leaf too! I had to go with the Thomas 90 leaf.

Sent an offer for this card and was elated when the seller accepted... received yesterday and it’s beautiful... except for the top left corner where someone tried to use black sharpie to match the black wood grains. Such a shame.
Short-term pickup as I’ve already requested a return.
Picked up a couple early cards of the original Mookie. The '80 arrived last week. The '79 finally showed up today after a two week trip through the postal service black hole.
As I have mentioned before, I don't typically by photos unless they're mass produced. However, occasionally, if I recognize the image as something significant in his career, I may alter course. When I first saw this Type I (I think?) photo, it seemed familiar to me. I wasn't sure so I bookmarked it and mulled it over. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks so I ran back and grabbed my copy of the second issue of Sports Illustrated to confirm it...
Sure enough, that was it. I always loved that card (why I bought the mag) and in particular, I love the action shot and the 'card that never was' aspect of it and now I have the companion photo, from seller harrydoyle on eBay. Crystal clear and marked up and stamped, likely by the photo layout editor:

Picked up a signed 1967 Milton Bradley Ben Davidson that arrived today.
Two days two '52 Topps card deliveries. This is a upgrade from a "2" so I'm very happy with this one.
Sold my 8 a few years ago and regretted it. Like the 61 more than the rook for eye appeal. Thrilled to add this one
I’m glad you said that, I’ve always preferred the 1961 Over the 60 too. And yours is off the charts!
