Fun times: it was just 1 year ago today that I sent my 2016 Topps group off for grading and today, still grading. By this time next year, I think we can maybe get over to assembly.
I find it frustrating that I have thousands of dollars worth of submissions there that are already over or will be well over a year at PSA and they are already opening up lower tier submissions. That coupled with grading inconsistencies has made me dabble in other grading companies. PSA is king but it may not be for much longer. Seem to be running off many loyal customers.
I just had one of my crossover orders move from R&ID to grading. It was shipped end of March and logged end of April. How long have crossovers been taking lately? It's a 64 card order of pre-1972. Mostly SGC but a handful of ISA and a GAI. It will be interesting to see how the ISA's do. Some mixed feedback on here about them but the cards look strong. Nothing too crazy. Mostly commons though some are low pop.

while I agree the backlog sucks and technically Regular is lower tier, at $100 a card I don't think it will make much difference when you get your cards back. Their goal is to keep x% devoted to higher level submissions, let's not forget they have expenses to cover as well which a mix of 100% lower dollar subs probably doesn't support.
I do have a couple in the same boat as you and at this point I get them when I get them. I used to get frustrated, now I think of it as youthful anticipation that I will get some new cards that I have long since forgot what they where
Yeah, I've got a review order that's been there since 11/20/20, still in grading. A review order should need no research as they're already in PSA holders. No problem once I get all those bumps. haha!

It's a grade add on for PSA/DNA items. While not part of the CTD process, still hard to believe it would be last on the list.
I had something crazy happen over the weekend, and now I am jonesing for my order to come back.
I sent in the ungraded cards from a rainbow of 2016 Topps Lindor. I put it together mainly in 2016/17, with a dozen PSA 10’s already. The rest I sent in as a bulk order. However, there was 1 card I could never find and I had essentially given up on it - until this weekend. I picked up the /10 clear acetate to finish the flagship/chrome/side set rainbow - 40ish cards in all. Now that I have the missing piece after 5 years of looking, I want to get the rest of the band together!
Yikes, that Ichiro 6 looks like an 8 to me, but what do I know. And don't get me started on that Clemente 3. GTFOH, no way is that card a 3. What are we paying PSA for if they deem that a 3...

Good luck to both of you (and all those) who go $100 per card. If they could make sure it doesn't end up in the hands of a rookie grader, maybe I'd try...

The three cards I sent in are literally up against the max value of $1499... if any of them GEM I'll end up owing an upcharge. That would be a GREAT problem to have.

Since one of them is a 2000 Ultra Tom Brady rookie, I'll go ahead and quote him: LET'S GO!!
One of mine is a Brady rookie too... but it's the Skybox one with Gio Carmazzi on it. I guess it was just in a box of cards I got somewhere, as I don't buy football cards. Fun little find, even though it's one of his least desirable RCs.
If you could take a moment to wish my cards a happy 1 year anniversary arriving at PSA I'd really appreciate it. I assume they are not lonely with plenty of brothers to keep them company in the warehouse, but they have been missing me, and I know they would appreciate the sentiment, considering they are still in grading and show no sign of getting to come home any time soon.

I picture something like the Indiana Jones warehouse - piles and piles of boxes gathering dust. Happy anniversary!
Also, I've been able to sneak a peek at a few of the grades, and while the HOF RC I was hoping for a 10 on didn't quite make it, there have been a few pleasant surprises. And one that is a super low pop 10 that could be pretty big!
I’ve enjoyed using the express option for a few of my cards but I’m so fed up with my outstanding value submissions not moving. One order has been in the grading phase since July.
My 4/15 order is still in the research phase. If it takes 7-9 months in the grading phase I’m looking at a 2023 return for that order.
I saw the New Years resolutions PSA posted and cannot imagine Psa can clear the backlog if they still have millions of cards to grade and are opening up new levels at the same time.
I am still waiting on a quarterly special that was sent 12/2/20. Still sitting in the grading phase. I have additional 8 orders with around 600 cards that were all entered throughout the month of August after spending about 8 weeks in limbo. Most of those are in the grading phase but as the post above stated, it could still be several months to a year before I get all of those back. I honestly won’t care as long as the grades come back with decent results.
So, how much do ya’ll believe the reported CTD numbers? I have a group that was officially entered on 3/15 last year (mailed 2 months earlier). Value Modern. PSA reports a CTD of 2/1, with 96% of February complete. If those numbers are accurate, I should be looking at something in the range of 2 months more, no?
I have 2 orders from early March in Assembly, one has been stuck there for almost a month. A 125 card value sub from Apr. 2 also just hit Assembly today.
Overall, I had about a 40% gem rate. I expected 7 gems and got 13, including a couple of low pops and a pop 1. One card was N6 Min Size, which was surprising (a modern card) but results were very good other than that. Only 3 cards graded lower than predicted, half I predicted correctly, and the rest were higher. No half grades, all whole number grades. Very pleased, this was the best sub I've had in awhile.
The last of two of my six subs currently there hit grading this morning. The previous four hit grading on 10/14/21 where they still sit. So, there are no delusions that I am anywhere close to getting any of these cards back.

My 4 subs arrived in Feb '21, entered Apr '21, Grading late-Oct & early Nov '21. No movement on any of them but I suspect based on the CTD that maybe I will see something in the next 2 months. I can't wait to get back my Gardner Minshew cards
Grades popped at 9:30pm Pacific Time, they must be working shifts over at PSA.
Kinda bummed about the Brady, I though it had a real shot at a 10, I must have missed something. The Roethlisberger is right where I thought it would be, and I assumed the Rodgers would be an 8 but was hoping for better. Still very satisfied with the results. Pretty fast turnaround considering they said it could take 90 days.

Until they publish subgrades it's always going to be a black box result. And they won't publish subgrades, so....
I sent in (3) cards under the new $100 Regular level... they should land on Monday. It'll be interesting to see how long these take.
I sent in 5 cards for that $50 Economy promotion they had, and I see they just arrived yesterday. I wonder how long these will take...
