I got the shipped email with tracking number from PSA about 10mins before that comment and on the Fedex site it just says Label created with an estimated delivery date of 2-2.

@parthur1607 - I like your strategy of sending in every couple of weeks. Hopefully they don't all hit at once and jam you up for a ton of fees at the same time, or if they do, you get some monster cards and can clear it quickly.
Had not heard about the price increase. It has already nearly doubled for ultra modern cards, from what the price was in 2018. You could send value/bulk subs in 2018 for $8. I might need to send a few extra subs this weekend lol.
I just received a 2020 Topps Chrome Sapphire Dustin May Auto Red Refractor fresh back from PSA today. It graded a 10. It’s numbered to 5 and I have the only 10 (pop 1). Listed on eBay as a BIN for $5000 so if you see it that’s me! I know I probably won’t get that for it but I always start WAY high and come down as needed. But with the crazy prices cards are selling for, maybe I will get lucky
What is the oldest sub you have that is still in Reseach & ID ? Can anyone top 7/23/2020 ? Trying to figure out if I'm ever going to get my 76's back.
edit to add I have a 7/13/2020 that is in grading. Been in grading for a month or 2. Nothing older than that. That is why I'm so surprised that the 7/23 sub hasn't even hit grading yet.

07/28 and still in R&D. Just after you, so hoping yours moves soon.
I am trying my best to be patient. It's not one of my strengths I admit. But getting errors on their website, sitting on hold either for an entire day or having them call me back in 10 hours, cards sitting on their shelves for 7 months without being touched, and emails not getting a response for almost a week, has driven me to the edge. I'm struggling to find a business anywhere that is running as poorly as PSA right now. Imagine taking your car to toyota to get it repaired and they don't get it back to you for nearly a year. Sure, I love Toyota. Made great products for years, but at some point you ruin your reputation by an inability to execute simple common business activities.

@76collector - I couldn't agree more. At least when they put out the communication center and added the "through dates" it gave you some semblance of normalcy and communication. Now they took that away and haven't done an update in over 2 months. At least keep people updated on how it's moving. It cuts down on the calls and emails to PSA and their customer support folks who are probably sick of answering the same questions over and over and it keeps people a little more calm. Not hearing back for a week etc would be remedied with an updated FAQ on your home page every day. It would take minutes to update that daily vs the hours CS has to spend on the phone. I think those steps they started were a move in the right direction, I'm disappointed to see it died so quickly.

lemme talk you off the ledge. if you check back a week or so ago, you'll see i had some bulk orders that went straight from r&id to qa2 overnight, then popped a few days later. they were right around 7/11 if i recall correctly.
54 card sub today, the search tool on the site just plain quit after 50, so it looks like I have 5 new cards to ID, when in reality it's just the 1993 Upper Deck International Penny Hardaway Spanish.....it's like they are trying to get people to stop sending them money it seems...
Did everyone see the through-dates are back in comm center page? Looks like economy is 8/2 but value modern is 6/30 and ultra is 7/9. Gonna be a while yet for my subs and looks like 11+ months for the recent subs.

Yeah. Disappointing to say the least. I was hoping my 76’s I subbed on July 5th of last year would be ready soon. I’m guessing I still have a few more weeks to wait. They are only in the grading stage too, and I have a 7/23 received value modern that is still in R&ID. Maybe that one will skip a stage. 🤞

I’m wondering if there may be a mistake with the “Complete Through Date” tracker. It says they are working on regular submissions from November. I sent a regular submission around the middle of January that I got back last week. Whoever has the sub from November needs to be raising all kinds of hell.

I had a Regular from November that didn’t pop till last week and actually just got delivered today lol. I never raised hell but I did complain a few times here if that counts.

I have an ultra modern bulk in QA2 received 9/1 logged 10/13
Which to me is crazy since I have an Economy sent in same box and logged on 9/29 that is still in stage 4.
Not to mention 4 subs sent up to 2 1/2 months prior all still in grading

I gave up on the ridiculous price. I relisted it as an auction and the market will determine the price. Had very few looks when it was listed at that amount. Since relisting it it’s had almost 300 views and 30 watchers. If he had a guaranteed spot in the rotation I think it would go for way more but with the Dodgers signing Bauer and Price coming back Dustin May might not even pitch in the majors this year.
I have 3 Jordan's I am waiting on to come back. 1987 Fleer,1987 Fleer sticker, and 1997 Metal universe 23.
They have been in grading for months. Arrived 8-25-20 and entered 9-21-20. Hoping they will start moving soon. I have 6 more lots a couple weeks apart after this one. Sent in a bunch of Jordan's when they had the Monthly special on them. Glad I got them in now with the price increases.

Wondering if the Completed Through Dates will mostly track one for one, or will there be times where it takes them 4 days to complete a single days submissions?
Quick question if someone can confirm for me but what level of service did the Vouchers go in as? My first thought that they were the equivalent of Regular Service but I could be mistaken

Mine show as economy but I had my 15 vouchers and added 6 cards to that submission, so that could be why. They used to go as "regular" way back when but that may have changed

@azvike - if I am understanding the chart correctly, the oldest "entered date" for that level is 7/1 so I would suspect it would be in the next 14 days. @blurryface seems to be more in-tune with how these are actually playing out though.

I would assume that it would. Let's say that PSA usually receives 10,000 packages a day. The days when it received 40,000 packages will necessarily take longer to move through the system.

I gave up on the ridiculous price. I relisted it as an auction and the market will determine the price. Had very few looks when it was listed at that amount. Since relisting it it’s had almost 300 views and 30 watchers. If he had a guaranteed spot in the rotation I think it would go for way more but with the Dodgers signing Bauer and Price coming back Dustin May might not even pitch in the majors this year.

That was the pace determination before the latest price increase, no hope of ever catching up at those rates. I would not be expecting a 1:1 from last July while they were getting swamped.
The way I understand it is they are counting the orders from logged date but who knows. I don’t even think they know sometimes. You had a large submission pop yesterday way ahead of where the dates are supposed to be. I had a regular submission come back last week that was way ahead of the line.

prior to 3/1, i would say yes. however, w/ changes and new policy's obviously being put in place, i think it's tough to say. i have a few orders, including regulars, that have been stuck in qa2 that should have popped last week. so my official answer is "all bets are off".
i have started my new spreadsheet to keep up w things moving forward, after a good week or two, i should be able to get back in tune w est poppage dates.

I got the shipped email with tracking number from PSA about 10mins before that comment and on the Fedex site it just says Label created with an estimated delivery date of 2-2.

Had not heard about the price increase. It has already nearly doubled for ultra modern cards, from what the price was in 2018. You could send value/bulk subs in 2018 for $8. I might need to send a few extra subs this weekend lol.

What is the oldest sub you have that is still in Reseach & ID ? Can anyone top 7/23/2020 ? Trying to figure out if I'm ever going to get my 76's back.
edit to add I have a 7/13/2020 that is in grading. Been in grading for a month or 2. Nothing older than that. That is why I'm so surprised that the 7/23 sub hasn't even hit grading yet.

I am trying my best to be patient. It's not one of my strengths I admit. But getting errors on their website, sitting on hold either for an entire day or having them call me back in 10 hours, cards sitting on their shelves for 7 months without being touched, and emails not getting a response for almost a week, has driven me to the edge. I'm struggling to find a business anywhere that is running as poorly as PSA right now. Imagine taking your car to toyota to get it repaired and they don't get it back to you for nearly a year. Sure, I love Toyota. Made great products for years, but at some point you ruin your reputation by an inability to execute simple common business activities.

@76collector - I couldn't agree more. At least when they put out the communication center and added the "through dates" it gave you some semblance of normalcy and communication. Now they took that away and haven't done an update in over 2 months. At least keep people updated on how it's moving. It cuts down on the calls and emails to PSA and their customer support folks who are probably sick of answering the same questions over and over and it keeps people a little more calm. Not hearing back for a week etc would be remedied with an updated FAQ on your home page every day. It would take minutes to update that daily vs the hours CS has to spend on the phone. I think those steps they started were a move in the right direction, I'm disappointed to see it died so quickly.
lemme talk you off the ledge. if you check back a week or so ago, you'll see i had some bulk orders that went straight from r&id to qa2 overnight, then popped a few days later. they were right around 7/11 if i recall correctly.

Yeah. Disappointing to say the least. I was hoping my 76’s I subbed on July 5th of last year would be ready soon. I’m guessing I still have a few more weeks to wait. They are only in the grading stage too, and I have a 7/23 received value modern that is still in R&ID. Maybe that one will skip a stage. 🤞

I’m wondering if there may be a mistake with the “Complete Through Date” tracker. It says they are working on regular submissions from November. I sent a regular submission around the middle of January that I got back last week. Whoever has the sub from November needs to be raising all kinds of hell.

I have 3 Jordan's I am waiting on to come back. 1987 Fleer,1987 Fleer sticker, and 1997 Metal universe 23.
They have been in grading for months. Arrived 8-25-20 and entered 9-21-20. Hoping they will start moving soon. I have 6 more lots a couple weeks apart after this one. Sent in a bunch of Jordan's when they had the Monthly special on them. Glad I got them in now with the price increases.
I see some good ones in there for you though ! When was this received and entered ? I'm wondering if you line up with the Value - Ultra Modern 9 July 2020 Complete through date.

Wondering if the Completed Through Dates will mostly track one for one, or will there be times where it takes them 4 days to complete a single days submissions?
Quick question if someone can confirm for me but what level of service did the Vouchers go in as? My first thought that they were the equivalent of Regular Service but I could be mistaken
Mine show as economy but I had my 15 vouchers and added 6 cards to that submission, so that could be why. They used to go as "regular" way back when but that may have changed
I took a screen capture yesterday, here is how it moved
They got their 9/1/2020 receicved 10/13/2020. Had an economy hit same day. Still in grading.
@envoy982 Mine are showing as CC Free since it was the only submission I sent at the time. They arrived 8/14, entered 9/15 and been in grading since Oct
Hoping to get them back soon, they were 1990 Marvel Universe Key cards before the "explosion" took place a few months back
forgive my ignorance, but if I have a Value modern logged 7/14...when can I (reasonably) expect grades to pop?....still in R-ID now...
@azvike - if I am understanding the chart correctly, the oldest "entered date" for that level is 7/1 so I would suspect it would be in the next 14 days. @blurryface seems to be more in-tune with how these are actually playing out though.

I would assume that it would. Let's say that PSA usually receives 10,000 packages a day. The days when it received 40,000 packages will necessarily take longer to move through the system.

I think he's asking if the oldest date is 14 days before his "entered" date, should he reasonably expect to see his grades in ~14 days? It seems like you have your finger on the pulse of this a bit more.
Logic would say that they would at least want to have a 1 for 1 day speed at grading or else they would theoretically never catch up.

That was the pace determination before the latest price increase, no hope of ever catching up at those rates. I would not be expecting a 1:1 from last July while they were getting swamped.
Does the through date refer to arrival at PSA or date logged I had orders arrive in June that were not logged until August.
The way I understand it is they are counting the orders from logged date but who knows. I don’t even think they know sometimes. You had a large submission pop yesterday way ahead of where the dates are supposed to be. I had a regular submission come back last week that was way ahead of the line.
I have assumed it refers to date entered/logged. I am not 100% on that and think it is a good question.
prior to 3/1, i would say yes. however, w/ changes and new policy's obviously being put in place, i think it's tough to say. i have a few orders, including regulars, that have been stuck in qa2 that should have popped last week. so my official answer is "all bets are off".
i have started my new spreadsheet to keep up w things moving forward, after a good week or two, i should be able to get back in tune w est poppage dates.
Complete Through Dates (CTDs) present factual data on order completion progress for every PSA service level. A service level’s Complete Through Date is the day before the date of the oldest open order in the PSA system for that particular service level. The CTD is based on order entry date, which means the day the order was formally entered into the PSA system for authentication and grading.

If I'm reading this correct, by the time the Complete Through Date (CTD) reaches my entered date, my order should be completed? My entered date is 9/1/2020 for an economy order.
