Some off the charts pickups being shown- wow on all of them !!
More recent Nomar slabs back all as expected . Many condition sensitive sets are involved and quite a few production issues are common.
The Press Proof Silver thought they were fair on upper left corner shows white. Pop 1 none higher.
The Leaf Limited Previews were prone to refractor lines. It's currently a Pop 1 none higher
The Class of 2001 are VERY prone to chipping and corner issues. It's currently a Pop 1 none higher
I'll scan some of my other Class of 2001 to show the common chipping issues for you.
The Leaf Certified Emerald actually was part of one of the worst cut Leaf Products I've seen. Pop 1 so far none higher and doubtful any will be.
All in all as expected. I've got more of all of them but will look carefully at them. NRMT is common on all.
Very tough to get Mint and higher on many of these.
Have more Garciaparra coming as I catch up scanning
As usual have to request the new slots be added to my Nomar registry

@MLBdays ...Smooth edges indeed..... 355 wins, 4 CY Youngs .... and his most underrated stat......18 Gold Gloves! His D was second to none. He was the Ozzie Smith of pitchers ....
Well I bought my first ever graded pack of cards, never realized how big these things are, but it is way cool to have part of my collection. Including with the mail day yesterday got some unopened material for the collection as well.
A few more Nomar slabs scanned. These 3 made the sub of the above palatable. The Fleer Box Scores another poorly made set the PSA 8 is fine for now. Its a Pop 1 nine higher. Happy about the Mint 9 on the Longevity ( Pop 2 none higher) and the PSA 10 Gem on the Blue Press Proof is worth the sub ! Its currently a Pop 1.

The blue is the new. But they look nice all together. Maybe a better way to describe the way they look is out of this world, given they're of The Martian.

I picked these up today. I'm thrilled with them. The '75 Carew is probably the least nice of the bunch, and even that one looks pretty decent to me.
Many years ago when I was splashing around in the NFL HOF registry, I owned an overgraded PSA 9 of this card. Never appreciated it that much. Now I own an (arguably) undergraded PSA 6, and this one makes me smile every time I'm near it.
This hobby is strange sometimes.
Super excited to add this card to my set; a great snag in a difficult pursuit. The set contains some of the biggest stars in the sporting world which is implied, I suppose, from the sets subtitle Los Reyes del Deporte, translated from spanish as Kings of Sport. This particular athlete is a worthy candidate for GOAT in his particular field. In terms of athletes that have had a significant positive impact on their sport and race relations in America, this gentleman is seemingly underappreciated today for his monumental contributions to both the sweet science and American history, at large. Many people don't seem to love history as much as I do, so it may surprise you to know that 100 years ago boxing was the biggest sport in the world. And after beating Primo Carnera in six rounds, taking the title from Jim J. Braddock (by being the only man to ever knock him out) in eight rounds and then his succesful title defense in a rematch to Max Schmelling in their second major bout (avenging his loss in the first) he became an American hero and icon leading up to World War II making him an athlete very worthy of reading up on if you don't know much about him.

Really excited to find the Berra - this is a really tough card from the set with centering issues and it is plagued with snow. After this and the Maz AS now at 47 of 80 complete on the '61 HOF set.
The Cepeda gets me to 39 of 69 on the '68 HOF set. Still a ways to go on both but have been making progress.
The Palmer is not for anything I am working on but I continue to get PSA 8.5s when I can find them at a price point I like.

Been trying to land a Basketball 1997 PMG for a number of years and always come up short until this one.
From this year and back from PSA re-holdering.
I usually don't collect basketball, but when I do.....
One for the "SUPER" Set
Love the "Old Time" look
And yet another Stanley cup
I'm sure I will. I just hope I don't get shellshocked by a surprise wrinkle or something. Time will tell.
really nice card.
Recent arrival of one of my all time favorite players.
Nice. I love Pops! Here’s my Venezuelan version of that card:

Always trying to find cards that I will not ever sell or upgrade for my 55 Parkies set. Doug Harvey is underrated in my opinion.
Wanted a 9 but this centered 8 with no tilt will do just fine.

This might sound kinda weird, but I believe I could just sit and stare at that top left corner all day long.
Beauty Murphy. I really like that card. Here's my favourite Ripken rookie that I just got back from PSA today. I always knew it was a 10...
Fresh back from PSA, PSA/DNA crossovers and was able to get them to retain the In The Presence pedigree (Thanks Jackie!!)
Recent pickups....
