I don't have any slabbed XF coins from my two favorite series, of which one series it'd be pretty stupid to get them slabbed, e.g. Franklins, and the other is a pricey series, DBHE $1, so I preferred to get one MS example.
OTOH, I like dirty gold, and here's a tougher date/mm in 45.

You might not like the price for the 1797 Bust Dollar. I paid AU money.m
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
@Varlis Nice to see you still have that quarter I sold you a while back. . She is a beauty. Thank you for the OP.
@fishteeth I think I sold you the best XF flowing hair in existence. Pic of her?
@TomB , Signal received. Always nice to see your lovely 39-O. I'm still waiting for you to tire of it. Maybe @Boosibri can pester you a bit since he is after the only coin I found that was its equal.
Everyone else....some really great coins posted here. Very lovely. I must say it is nice to see the boards with some life again.

Yes I would sure love to own either example to pair with this XF45:
Sorry, @Boosibri, but @coinlieutenant has been after my 1839-O RE half dollar for over a decade with no success. I've even got another original EF squirreled away that I rarely take out, but will make an exception for you-

The proposition would be that if you sell me yours @TomB I'd sell him my gold CAC....

@TomB Not ganging up. Brian knows that I will sell to him if I ever do....and I know you would do the same for me if you ever sold. They are special coins and super fun to look at.

It's all good! The 1839-O dominoes will fall as they will fall...
Well. I have been privileged to see some of the meatiest coins on the planet. I feel like Joey Chesnut, Molly Schuyler, or Matt Stonie . . . . . after one of those "everything on the menu" challenges at McDonald's !!!
Exquisite coins. My nomination for POTY. Perhaps in time . . .we should do one like this on every (major) circulated grade? (Just a thought)
OK . . . . I love the mahogany look to the perfect large cent. Here is an offering . . .
Barber half dollars are a series that I am super-geeky about, which I guess makes them comparable to Reeded Edge half dollars and Washington quarters from my perspective.
This coin was offered raw at Greysheet VF20 money (Greysheet!!!) because the dealer who had it in inventory noted that there was a scratch on the reverse. I also noticed the scratch, but although it appears enormous and obvious in my images, it isn't nearly so bad in-hand. After all, we are talking about a mid-grade circulated silver half dollar that saw plenty of use in commerce before it was tucked away. I happily purchased it and have owned it for quite a while. PCGS and CAC also liked the coin very much, too.
I love the dirt clinging to all the raised devices, the glimmer of luster peeking out beneath some of the dirt, the original color and just the fact that it wasn't boinked in all these years.

I have seen some nice Trade Dollars so far. This one is special because it was owned by Frank Rose, the godfather of chop mark coin collecting. I acquired it from the dealer who handled his estate. Rose acquired it in Asia in 1968.

The second you posted is GR1, just like mine based on a cursory look.
