I can't get the photo to come out right, but here is a 1941 Proof Walking Liberty half dollar. The grade is PCGS PR-66, CAC. I now have a date set of Proof Walkers. I'd like to fill in the rest of the coins to complete the 1936 to '42 Proof set run, but finding the right coins at reasonable prices is hard.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
Don't know whether to break her out or leave like it is. For my book.
I would leave it in the ANACS slab since this coin is heavily counterfeited and the slab guarantees this coin is authentic.

Instagram pickup from a few months ago. Brand new holder w/ trueviews, but did not CAC. But it’s still a keeper (62 dmpl). This is a beautiful coin
Some arguement as to weather she's over or under graded.. Me I'm happy with her as she is

So, I gave in to the addiction of not having a new purchase in the last 6 weeks.
I bid on many, but this is the only one acquired.

Small mintage (~300k) and not grading well. The MS68s are selling for $500+
Still a nice grade for a business strike.

I used to be able to copy photos from Heritage, but I don’t seem to be able to do that anymore. So you get links to the page now.

When is a "store card" not a store card?
Here is one I've been looking for in my budget range and condition for a long time. I had almost given up hope on securing one.
The interesting thing about this one is that it is listed as a "Hard Times" token when it is more of a store card in my way of thinking.

My first Civil War gold coin. Came in via FedEx today. Sunlight makes it look like a different coin.
Throw a coin enough times, and suppose one day it lands on its edge.
I'm not sure what to make of this one . . . .

Look what I found in a " junk bin" listing.
I got the seller to part out the specific piece I wanted. The asking price was just too high to own the lot.
