This is a great thread; I enjoy looking @ what others are buying. But it continues to be messed up functionally. It continues to show a page 147 with no coins. All the new ones are added on this page, resulting in looking at the same coins repeatedly to get to the new ones. Should have been fixed long ago, as this has been happening for awhile.

I got it now, thanks to @humanssuck. Would be nice to see the bug addressed, however.

This "bug" affects several threads including the humor thread and the random picture thread. The moderators were made aware of it several days ago and it still hasn't been fixed. All you can do when you get a page with no posts is to hit the back button (<<) a few times until you get to the page with the recent posts.

@PerryHall You are right. it is almost impossible to respond to someone's question on a post. it takes a long time and usually I just kinda give up after searching the thread.

It looks like it's been fixed at least on this thread anyway.

It loaded correctly for me today, looks like they fixed it 👍🏻

Edited to say that the glitch is still happening in the Coin Uno thread. Maybe they have to fix them one at a time or something 🧐

There were 12 new posts when I clicked on this thread and it put me on this page, which only has the most recent 5. I don't think it's fixed yet.

Very nice classic head cent. I almost pulled the eBay trigger on this coin numerous times. I know when I keep checking on something I should just buy it. Nice pickup!

Thanks. I had it on my watch list for a long time, it was Mrs_Spud that talked me into pulling the trigger and buying it. I bought it directly off of L&C’s website for a couple dollars less than what they had it on eBay for. But I should have waited one more day because the next morning L&C sent me an email saying that they were giving 10% off on Type Set coins, which is the section they had this one listed under. Oh well, maybe you or someone else might have bought it if I had waited one more day and I would have missed out. I really like it and I think it’s worth what I paid so no regrets.

I’m not sure why you missed it, it’s been on eBay and their website for a while, it’s even featured with a picture of the whole slab in their mailer that they sent out. I liked it right away when I first saw it on eBay and put it on my watch list, but I was hesitating because I like my lower grade one that I bought from Pierre Frick at one of the Long Beach shows. I always prefer buying a coin I don’t have yet in my Type set rather than an upgrade if I like the lower grade one I already have. Otherwise I would have bought it earlier. I like it mostly for its even brown coloration and because it has a cool die crack going through all the stars on the obverse. It has a CAC sticker, which I know is your requirement and what you use for your search filters. Maybe L&C didn’t mention CAC so it didn’t show up in your searches or something like that.

All: while the thread has advanced to a new page, I don’t believe the “bug” has been fixed. When I go to check a new posting, it still reverts to the top of the current page. Means we’re still seeing the same coins over again before we get to the new postings. Still manageable, but a bit annoying, imo.

It looks to be ok. When you go to this thread, check the date of the post to verify what you expect to see.

Thanks - I believe it’s been corrected since my post. It wasn’t before that.

I have a ANACS Photo Certificate (Capitol Plastic holder) for a 1952 Franklin just like this holder.

I prefer the looks of these old style holders vs the new ones out today.
