I don't know much at all about IHC varieties, but I want to say I am always impressed by the IHC/FECs you post here @rnkmyer1 You have an incredible collection!
I had cherry picked this 1847/1846 seated half dollar off of an eBay BIN today and owned it for a few hours before the seller informed me that he had to rescind the deal and refund my money. The classic case of winning something on eBay and having enough folks message the seller after the sale about it to tip them off. Oh well, that is how cherry picking goes, it doesn't count if you fumble at the goal line.
Another new one today. This is the rare S-1a variety of the 1865 Fancy 5 IHC. I have the S-1b & wanted one of these to make the companion pair. I don’t care for the feather tip stain, but the rest of it is good - almost full RD color & fairly graded, even nice. I think the stain holds it back from the 65 level, so the price point was also good.

That's too bad. That's a nice, clear example of the overdate as well.
Interesting Chicago ANA pick up!
Purchased from Jon Sullivan, error expert for PCGS.
It's the
1952 Jefferson "Split Planchet"
PCGS AU
Here's the interesting part.
I have the identical error in raw form!
Same year, same pattern, same weight. 2.59!
This is why I just had to buy it.
Here's mine.
It even has the similar raised portion above Monticello's roof!
Amazing! TrueView
Here's the next strange occurrence.
The TrueView pic of the reverse, is rotated?
It's not rotated in the slab???
"Jesus died for you and for me, Thank you,Jesus"!!!
--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line.

Joey, is there any possibility that these are fake? If they do indeed have the same pattern, it seems like a very odd occurrence.

It’s just a form of “bleed through” from the obverse side of the coin. On the reverse side of both coins, you’re seeing a ghost of an upside-down Jefferson. Lots of split after-strike errors will show this effect.

1937 D Buffalo Nickel graded by PCI as VF30. No mention on the slab that this is the popular 3 Leg variety.

I've been looking for a 1820 CBH in XF45 for quite sometime.
This date/grade was harder to find than I thought, took me 2+ years.
Plus, it's got a green bean. Coinfacts says it's a rarity 5.0 - 1,000 survivors in all grades.
Thanks for looking.

The early Walker hunt continues with this purchase:
Walker aficionados know the 1919-D is notorious for a poor strike. I liked this one & the pricing was pretty good, not great. It checks all the boxes: head lots of detail (although not quite full), branch hand thumb & even a partial stem split, OK skirt lines, satisfactory trailing leg on the eagle & good feather breast detail, mint mark clear. Highly lustrous too. Nice eye appeal.
It’s a fairly graded, problem free example that should sticker.
TV shows too much yellow, which seems to be a recurring theme in another thread.
The tally now is 17/20, with “only” the 20-D, 20-S & 21-S remaining. The 20-D has been very tough. There’s a 20-S in the HA auction today, but I don’t care for it. The 21-S? Definitely will be the last one (as it should be for the hardest one).
On our “Saturday Morning Coffee With Coins” thread, I’ll elaborate on the 1919-D & include some pics of a typically struck piece for the date.
Picked up this shrouded Julius Caesar dictator in perpetuity today from HA to go with my wreathed, minted around Feb 14, 44BC, just prior to the Ides of March and considered a significant causal factor in his murder
It was in a collection I bought. After I realized it was the 3 leg I gave the seller some more money.

I just overpaid a little for this one. In hand it has nice color and no dings.
If I can get a decent picture I’m interested in hearing grade opinions.
