Received this one today from YN William Saurina bought off of Facebook. We had some slow service from the US Post Office that scared me a little but it arrived today. Great Transaction with William. This finished of my Standing Liberty Quarter PCGS CAC set.
Just got this back from NGC. I had to send it back to be be re-labeled (Mechanical Error). It was labeled as a half dollar. NGC was great to work with and it was all done at no cost to me. It was done in less than 2 weeks too. 🙂

finally got a "real" cali gold fractional (at least as real as they get, 1st era made for circulation not jewelry even if it ended up that way lol
1854 bg-108 1/4 Dollar fractional gold
eBay purchase, 1858 S Seated Half, looks to be a “rubber” stain like rubber band contact on reverse. Nice obverse detail for circulated coin with even some residual luster
Love that Milled British (1830-1960) Well, just Love coins, period.

I'm always a sucker for these GEM Ike dollars found in the OGH- especially so when the holder is fresh and doesn't appear "passed-around" marked up.

A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.
A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.
Another Teutonic Taler! Has a cool overdate (among other production blunders), but has a lot of the original luster.
