The color is MUCH, MUCH better in hand than in this image.
A beauty! Yes, the color always seems to be the toughest part to appear in a photo.
You got to get it at the perfect angle. True photographer 's probably never have this problem? Lol. Nice Canadian.

Just arrived today. An upgrade for this variety in collection. The '69 is quite rare with rev of 68. Reverse picture was hard to capture. It's not near as dark or muted. I had to fight with shadows, etc., to capture details and settled for trade-off.
Any way I can remove the tarnish from these sets? Just kidding.
I love original, especially when attractive. The colors on the '56 double mint are phenomenal. I can't capture obviously; even the copper is tricked out.
The '53 is wholesome too; with some desirable colors. None are unappealing IMHO.
My double mints are a side project; trying to complete the run. Just picked up today!
Just picked up a couple of Mercury dimes. I owned the 1942-S previously and was excited with the chance of owning it again.
I have a weakness for this type toning.
Just got a recent submission of some Roosie Newps back today. 21 calendar days from mailing to PCGS until picking the coins up at my PO on an Economy submission!! Nothing earth-shattering, but these are my two favorites from the group:
I picked this beauty up from, David Lawrence. I find David Lawrence a true top notch outfit, 100%. A gorgeous 65 brown that these pics come nowhere near showing it’s true beauty. The obverse is a screaming Knockout beauty.
Thanks for looking.
Happy hunting, Joe
The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

What I like about robec's coins is when I see a nice coin with a certain look, I say :"that looks like it should be with robec". And it usually is.
I really like the look. At PCGS, 5 in this grade and 35 higher.
"David Akers (1975/88): Scarce in all grades and extremely rare better than EF. In fact, even strictly graded EF specimens are rare. Once again, the old reverse hub was used, and most known specimens are softly struck on the eagle's right leg. I have only seen two strictly uncirculated pieces. and perhaps half a dozen AU's. This date is tied with the 1865-S and 1866-S as having the fourth lowest average grade of any quarter eagle in our 226 catalogue auction survey. I consider this date, and all the early S mint quarter eagles, to be grossly undervalued."
My focus is on fewer and better, though the $$$ was not unreasonable.

Probably not the right place to play GTG, so I'll just tell you it's an MS-66.
When I started my Walker set, I was addicted to frosty white. Lately, I'm more drawn to what I call, "Dusty toning".
After circling back to do a few upgrades, I'm now two coins away from finishing the set!
Just upgraded (in terms of eye appeal) the 52P in my Registry set:
Big thanks to @Rob41281 !
