@Twobitcollector thats a really cool set. I was thinking about what to do around my PF66 ‘42 Merc, and maybe a year set is the ticket.
Might go for a complete Merc proof set, it in now going to look more into one like yours. Congrats on finishing it.

Cool that two of these coins were struck at US Mints.

Ordered this week, not shipping from APMEX until 7/24. From the Royal Mint. 7500 mintage. Lifelong Elton fan, could not pass it up:

@Kliao that's a nice pick up. One of my favorite coins is a 1921 I got out of a junk bin at a jewelry shop as a teen.

With the US Mint producing so little I've been picking up some unique coins that I find unusual and artistic.

    Nice pick up.

My first thought is that it looks like a ninja throwing star!

This one just arrived. It’s a proof and if anyone here has tried to image up a proof copper coin you know what I’m talking about. Without the plastic it’d be a breeze. The color of this is neon green and is exactly the color of the CAC sticker that’s on the slab. It was love at first sight. Graded PR-65 brown CAC’ed.
    Thanks for looking, Joe

    Awesome! You have excellent taste.

I just won this coin at Great Collections. It's MS 67+ CAC and so is a (slight) upgrade to the complete commemorative collection I am working on. As soon as it arrives, I will include it in my registry set. According to the TrueView and GreatCollections pictures, it's pretty (I hope) and so I should be happy with it (I also hope ... :))

    Looks great! :)

The 1970d Roosevelt. Reverse of the Proof '68 Dime. Darn Carbon! Oh well? :/

The shop owner threw this in as a freebie for the purchase of a jar of E-Z-Est. Lol

    So I guess I shouldn't complain.

Ammonia has worked very well on such spots. Try it on some similar less stellar coins...
