Volta Oil, which sponsored a Town Meeting article that allowed for self-serve gas stations in Milford, has opened its long-planned, seven-pump station on Cedar Street (Rte. 85).

MILFORD – Drivers are one step closer this month to gassing up their own vehicles within Milford town limits.

In October, Town Meeting members approved a bylaw change, 145-24, that would get rid of an effective ban on self-service gas stations. Until that Town Meeting vote, Milford was among just a few towns in the state that do not allow drivers to pump their own gas.

And here I thought it was just Oregon that didn't let people fuel their own vehicles. It is a felony there.

And they checked your oil and air pressure, and washed your windshield.

If you put 15 gallons in, you would still get money back from a fiver.

And a soda glass or some other free item each time you filled up.

And S&H green stamps, or blue stamps.

New Jersey still prohibits it. Judging from the people I'm surrounded by here it might be a good idea.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
