@LanceNewmanOCC
I’ve also found some nice toners. Cherry red on a few 2015, 19, and 20 from one particular batch. I’m always puzzled how they toned so fast.
Those mid-teen coins although plentiful are very tough to find in a trifecta.
Sick luster is the first thing that catches my eye. Pick it up and oh well it has scar face or spotted like a leopard.
Anyway I have found a few worth keeping still contemplating if they’re worth grading though.

i should be happy turnaround time is in the dumps right now or i'd be pretty tempted to research grades/prices for some of the stuff ive come across.
i did search a few prices/grades and saw some decent values if a person had a nice little batch to try

I have a 24 coin order in that arrived June 15 and so I’m expecting grades in the next 45 to 60 days. Then I have a secondary order I’m still putting together but cannot complete it without some results from the current order. No question on the Lincoln‘s it’s the almost new for me stuff I’m trying out, all other denominations :-)

1895 Barber Quarter
Why would somebody literally throw away a SILVER quarter? At the rate I've been coin roll hunting you're seemingly more likely to find a four leaf clover or win Pick 4 (no really, both are about 1:10,000 odds) than finding a silver dime/quarter in a roll. At least that's been my experience so far.
I don't suppose anyone here has the 2009 nickels and a 1971(P) and 2009(P) dime? I don't know if they'll EVER show up...
Something of interest?

Full Bands is the real trick.
I'm looooooving vintage mint sets.
I do too...I'd like very much to someday get the mint/proof sets from 2008 and earlier. But for now I better focus on adding as much silver (dimes/quarters/(Franklin halves maybe?), and if I'm lucky, Silver Eagles/Maples) as I can afford while silver is still relatively cheap. That would be the best strategery, right?

@estil did you mean 2008 and earlier or later? I may have some I can hook you up with, along with some silver :-)
Are you what they call a YN? Don’t have to be young just new to the game.

2008 and earlier. And I have no clue what a YN is. EDIT: Oh, you mean a Young Numismatic ...well is 42 young enough for ya? I've sometimes considered doing coins but it was only a couple months back I finally took the plunge doing the old fashioned coin roll hunting.
And sure I think once I am ready to do the mint/proof sets I figured it'd be best to start with the state quarter era (1999-2008) and work my way backwards.

shrugs To try to get as many of the years/mintmarks as I can before silver goes back up I guess?

Five years in? Technically I'm only a couple months in though I've thought of doing coins off and on since my college days but I guess I figured I already had my trading card and vintage video game and reference/UK/local history books collection and I didn't want to spread myself too thin! It was that classic Dennis the Menace episode where Dennis does penny folders and knowing my grandma had a big green jug full was when a couple months ago I finally decided to take the plunge. After all if you're getting coin rolls at your local bank/credit union for face value you can't really lose, right?
Interestingly, I'm probably among the youngest in this (especially the trading card section) forum yet I'm probably among the oldest at the Nintendo Age forum...go figure!

And it was in fact at my grandma's house and her big green jar of pennies (plus some rolls of nickels/dimes/quarters she happened to have) that I did my first penny folders (and nickel/dime/quarter ones when I got home)! And did I forget how super amazing it was she happened to have saved 17 silver FDR dimes and about six silver GW quarters (6/17 happened to be me and my late wife's anniversary date!) and I think three silver '64 JFK halves? Nice little start for those silver coins right?

I know and you have mentioned this before. It’s like one in 10 or one in 20 but when it happens you are completely beside yourself when those beauties pop out and they do indeed pop! I could open 100 boxes of fed wrapped rolls and never find the ones i’m talking about.
But again, it’s apples to oranges you’re looking for silver half‘s and W quarters and I’m looking for 68+ Links.

Hey, you spoiled the surprise! But thanks so much anyway; you have no idea what a tremendous start that will be for my mint set collection! As a matter of fact I have never owned a mint or proof set of any sort. They do look really interesting though!

What exactly do you do for work/living? And don't be saying naughty four letter words!
I own and manage an office equipment company. The fancy term is Office Solutions Provider offering print management and IT solutions but basically we sell, lease, and service Canon and Sharp copiers and printers.
It’s funny you ask because I’m currently in-between websites, pondering a second company, and struggling with direction and decisions so thanks for the practice

One of the most wanted!
"Jesus died for you and for me, Thank you,Jesus"!!!
--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line.My coolest coin roll hunting find yet. The teller even specifically told me non of the rolls contained silver!!!
Nickel box finds (50 rolls searched)
A 1943-D war nickel- very worn, but still the lowest mintage and scarcest war nickel.
A dateless buffalo nickel (not shown)
Quarter box finds (50 rolls searched)
A 2015-S clad proof Saratoga quarter
2 Wilderness "W" mint quarters No. 17 and 18. Unfortunately one of them has a value killing scratch across Washington's face.
And a 2022-P Maya Angelou VDDR-00l, 1-R-VIII
No. 5
I came across these two and counting . So, this was the sixties ? Peace, Love, and ...and fill in the verb of your choice.
So many...verbs.
"Peace, love and the BEST music!
In all genres.
"Jesus died for you and for me, Thank you,Jesus"!!!

All is right in the world again.
So far they are yucking. You have to be suspicious when you tell the bank teller that you want customer wrapped rolls and she happily loads you up and says, please don't bring them back! My guess, is that @joeykoins was here
Oh well, try again...Its only a question of when
@Estil Here you go bro 1999 to 2008 with a side of silver
Pay it forward
I try to avoid customer wrapped rolls, I know that they may deliver, but I fear that I'm wasting my time...The times that I have, did not bear fruit.
Yeah, sometimes customer wrapped are good too? It's a crap shoot.
Good luck

--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line.I know and you have mentioned this before.
