Reunited with a family treasure of sorts starting when I was 6 yrs old.
A little smoke damage from the wall of a smoker. A slight tare . (no problem)
Orignal oil painting created for NFL Illustrated of The Philadelphia Eagle, QB, Norm Snead.
The painting was used for the cover of the Cleveland Browns vs The Philadelphia Eagles game day program .
There are 10 other renditions (Player-Team).
No other info at this time. ( I just got it).
Photo shows...Program from the Cleveland Stadium, November 13, 1966, also.

hey emeraldATV,
That's cool...
Glad to share .
Style of the brush strokes seems to be close to Leroy Neiman.
Extra cool !
PS... Created on streached canvas, mounted on a light weight wood frame inside a frame (for stability of the canvas I guess)
The outer thin facet of the wood is painted gold. The 2.5 inch facet outside is painted green.

Hope he stays a strong starter after his first outings.
Don't have the cool cards everyone else is posting but still enjoy lower number rookies even modern.
hey Dizzazter,
don't feel bad or anything like that...post your cards and never feel bad or shy with your postings, that is why we are here, and yes a very safe Merry Christmas!
This is a pretty great thread if you take the time to scroll through it. It’s really not about value as much as about seeing some cool cards from other people’s collections.
My wish and hope is to kickstart this thread and get people back to posting the cards that make them happy.
The first time I landed a copy of this item was also the first time I had an eBay seller cancel my order and sell it to someone else when they saw that the listing had ended. It still hurts to think about but that’s what made it all the sweeter when I recently landed this gem…

how about a Ted Williams shotgun shell of the day...Too bad it was charged with #8 shot, if it had #9 shot we'd have a jersey match...
Oh man that’s sweet!

hey DBesse27,
Oh Yeah...There's your guy...
how about a Marvel 7-11 of the day...
That's an awesome looking 6!
I'm a big RC fan, and love that card. His hat seems like it doesn't fit though.
Thank you, and I agree...it's a very nice 6.
It's actually my only Carew card. I like 2nd year cards of players that had multi-player RCs
I totally agree!
Guess that makes this my card of the day!
Last I knew there were no PSA 10’s of this card and mine was the only autographed PSA 9.

That Johnny U is beautiful! Congrats on that one.
Hey, thanks! It's an awesome card, despite Unitas being possibly the least photogenic human ever.

Borderline? It might have been borderline with a real number, not a Post-it on his back.
Thanks fellas. Doesn’t matter, I bought it for the cardboard.
