Just corresponded with @BigMoose today.
He's semi-retired and getting fat and lazy; working maybe a day a week, which barely pays for kibble for the dogs

Who was it that disappeared and up ended up in Central America somewhere? Was it Anaconda?
GSAGUY
Nope,
Anaconda.
Consider the following to be informed gossip without input from him for several years
Before he left he screwed Brandon, who now makes the 3rd best gumbo in Louisiana. And dandles young'uns on his knee
In Costa Rica, he married (?) three sisters, each progressively younger, last may have been 16.
They were all deeply in love.
Then he bought Bolivian Marching Powder from the wrong cop....
He came back and spent prison time in CO on gun charges.
I've subsequently passed on two offered business opportunities
Warren Zevon may have presaged this with "Lawyers, Guns and Money".

I have been here all along. And, counter to the Colonel's assertions, I have not been getting fat--getting to the gym 5 days a week. My silence has been sort of a protest over what was done to Coinfacts.

His story is interesting but maybe a tad less than Adrian’s
Had to curtail my collecting while putting my 3 daughters through college. I have one semester left. Also, the more I posted about ANACS certificates and some of the gems I was finding they started becoming harder and harder to get deals on, on EBAY.
Need a Barber Half with ANACS photo certificate. If you have one for sale please PM me. Current Ebay auctions

@michael used to be an entertaining, eccentric, thoroughly knowledgeable and generous mentor. He was elderly, and hasn't been here for some time. I do miss him.

I’m still missing myself and my avatar. Some kind of login glitch.
Roger B. I missed it. What happened?
And Laura. I get that one. She likes to ruffle feathers. But....that's just the way she is.
She was banned (for at least the third or fourth time).
Somehow earned a banning (and I think he worked hard for it).
I know when it happened but the circumstances were a bit unclear, but the mods obviously had their reasons.
