Thanks so much. At first I thought it was priced just a little high, then I started comparing it to every other 7 and 8 I could find a picture of on VCP, Heritage, PSA auction sales, PWCC past sales...then when I factored in some eBay bucks, pulled the trigger as fast as I could.
Damn you guys have great taste. I like seeing what you guys post more than I enjoy posting my own stuff.
I'm basically just working on 3 research projects right now so those pickups are pretty boring but I stumbled across this and picked it up. It's a ticket stub for one of Ali's Olympic wins in Rome, 1960. It isn't the gold medal fight but still pretty cool.

Thanks, Matt. The worst corner of the four is definitely a tad soft for the grade; I think the overall image quality really carried it with the grader. After landing the 52B 8 I am almost done with my run. There's one card I'd love to upgrade and one I am waiting to acquire but have a deal in place with its owner. Then will be excited to share the whole set.
I don't even agree with you that the worst corner is soft for the grade. I think that's a heck of a nice card Matt. I would be quote pleased with that one, and wish I had one like it. I am slowly working on a run myself and will scan them all when I get them back from PSA as they are all getting reholdered. I can t wait to see more.
Working on a Mantle run? Would love to see what you have picked up so far in the run.
KC
All are at PSA getting reholdered, but here are the scans I have at this time. I have one more in transit.
Great run and thank you for sharing. Some really nice examples in that batch.
Trying to collect the T206 NY Highlanders team, but in as many various backs as I can before I need to dupe. This is todays mailday, couple more on the way.

One of my favorite players in the early 70s. The population of this PSA 8 Brodie Stand-up is 16 with only 1 higher.
Is there a reason the PSA flip doesn’t describe it as a stand up?
I noticed that all the ones with the real old grades are not described as "stand up". I'm assuming it's just something they decided to add later on.
they note on their website that certain variations or pedigree's were added later on after some cards were graded and this "could" effect the pop report. its more noticeable on the T206's for example, as older graded cards just say "T206" where newer graded ones denote the back variation like "T206 Piedmont 350".
Yeah, it just seems odd when there is another set called 1968 Football. Unless the Standups were originally viewed as no number parts of the normal 1968 set?
@Huskies11 Great card. Looks like a sweet auto refractor. Is that /499? Love the cards you post. Out of pure curiosity....Did you pick this one up intending to submit or do you enjoy having a raw “stash” as well?
I have no rooting interest at all but I’m really, really looking forward to watching this World Series.
Always looking for tougher PSA 10's of Nolan Arenado, Alex Bregman, Mookie Betts, Francisco Lindor, and Mike Trout.

Thanks man! Nope not #d. I'll probably slab, I generally like to have cards of my favorite players slabbed regardless of the grade.

Rodgers pickup back from PSA re-holdering. #'d 13/20
Beautiful card @UFFDAH. I didn’t think anyone was as bad as me about having their cards reholdered..... But it seems you may be. I get them in and they go right back out for reholdering.
Matt I collect: 80’s Rookies and 86 Fleer Basketball
I picked up this 1989 cello case with floor stand display to pair with my 1988 floor stand display that I purchased earlier in the year. No one else may give a crap, but at least I know @ReggieCleveland will love it! This photo is especially for you Arthur...

One of my oddball sets.
It came in 6 series - I now have 2-5.
Of interest, I missed out on the 4th series at Hunt auctions - I got outbid - very happy since this one went for about 40 bucks less.
