Just heard a pretty crazy stat. Going into the AFCCG, Tom Brady was the only player on the team that had been on the winning side of a road playoff game.
750 win percentage
73.2 Total QBR
2 Super Bowl appearances
4 postseason victories
18% of passes gaining >15 yards

If Left Tackle Trent Brown doesn't get re-signed then I would prefer a Tackle in the 1st round not a QB. You can find good QBs after round one and whoever Belichick eventually drafts at QB is gonna be sitting for at least one season maybe more. There will be plenty of time to develop him.

No one will ever mistaken me for a Pats fan, but good grief enough with the cheating nonsense, it's really worn out by now. They have won multiple AFC Championships since the whole "deflatefate" saga so obviously the air in the footballs had absolutely no correlation with their success as a franchise. No one cares.

Brady- The biggest cheater in the NFL suspended 4 games, and loss of a first round pick, and a huge fine.
Care to refute it?
I didn't think so.
lol
I’m pretty sure Brady had the last LOL that season. A Super Bowl win. Justice was served. A wrongful suspension leads to motivation and the greatest comeback in Superbowl history.

The irony here is this guy is here crying about Brady being a cheater but in another thread he's begging Magic Johnson to go get Anthony Davis.
The same Magic that was fined $500,000 for tampering with the Paul George situation.
The same Magic that was fined another $50,000 for his comments about Giannis.
The same Magic that colluded with Lebron before he left Cleveland for LA and who had to "remind" the Lakers organization that they can't talk about Lebron. Now that he has Lebron doing all of the dirty work for him his ass is covered.
Rumors coming out today are that Anthony Davis has already been convinced to come play in LA. Funny how that works.
If Belichick had Magic's record for tampering he would be getting crucified right now.
If Brady had stated publicly that it would be "amazing" to play with Antonio Brown, the NFL would spend another 20 million dollars on a BS investigation trying to prove Brady colluded with every free agent Belichick has ever signed.
When you cheat in your profession you should be banned. Those that dismiss the severity of cheating are unknowledgeable fans of the lowest ilk.
Sounds like a certain Lakers fan here thinks Magic should be banned for cheating his profession multiple times.

For me, Belichick is the one cementing his legacy. He could have won this Super Bowl with a lot of guys playing quarterback -- Brady did not play very well against a so-so Rams defense. Goff and McVay looked completely overmatched by Belichick's schemes. No adjustments, just deer in the headlights.
Makes me appreciate the Eagles last year who at least came out with a game plan of attacking and playing to win.

I respectfujlly disagree Jeff. Brady’s and Belichicks legacy were both cemented long ago. Belichick had a horrible Super Bowl last year while Brady threw for 505 yards. Everyone isn’t on point all the time. Brady made the plays went it counted in the 4th just likes he does almost every time. Brady has zero to prove. He’s the greatest of all time without peer. As a Pats fan the last 18 years have been a joy. 9 Superbowls and 6 Superbowl wins. It will never be duplicated again. Plus the Pats ain’t going anywhere as long as Brady stays. They just might have a couple more it them.
The Rams D was excellent tonight and had a great game plan. They made a ton of plays. They wilted at the end as they were on the field the entire first half. You could see that coming. They were gassed. That was the best the Pats D played all year. The players made the plays. They were terrific.
